The Arashi in NY is being uploaded by Arwenna, her clubbox is http://clubbox.co.kr/arwenna (She has a great collection, omedetou, by the way!!!! :woot: )

The site about Japanese lyrics was posted some days before: www.uta-net.com

Hope it helps!!!!! :victory:

Thanks for the Arashi in New York thing!!!
I have seen her CB but never the A-NY SP. Thanks for telling me!

I already know about Utamap and Uta-net sites... Somebody posted a xrea.jp site with some Arashi lyrics, I'm searching for something alike... Fan sites with lyrics, because the ones I'm trying to find aren't in those sites.
Thanks anyway for answering my question!

AIBA MASAKI rabu rabu †¥…...chou kawaii!

In this Shimura zoo, Aiba goes to Africa to play with "big cats" (lions, tigers and cheetahs) I died laughing at the engrish, which I think is sooo cute..and Aiba is very brave and borderline crazy...I love him with the baby lion, which he named "Shimuken"..it was either that or Arashi or Masaki

Aiba's Making of Itsuka no Summer - I love his "Mary is my homegirl" shirt! He has a nice style I think...

About Ohno's play, I found out the name, it's "sengokupuu" ƒ“ƒSƒNƒv[

In the process of my search, found a pretty thorough site with Arashi's activities from '99 til now

Which lyrics are you looking for specifically, maybe I can help...

I'm a search engine master LOL! and I'm always looking for good kanji lyrcis sites, cuz romaji is not as accurate.

Has anyone else watched Leader's segment on the Making Of One DVD? I love Ohno's hat that says, "Let's Talk Turkey." (I'm already getting more ideas for another gif.) You have such a beautiful voice, Leader!!! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

Thanks Deragoth, himitsu, GacktSama, fybabe, mylani, green_jaded, nacchan, bella-italia, kkl, vargrant_dreams and dalinee for all the lovely uploads, avatars, and translations! You all work so hard!
*watches as PC disk memory dwindles from GB into MB*

tsuki666: Thanks for trying to clear that up. Kinda makes more sense now.

Yay! Just saw Nino as the Feature Artiste tonight! When I saw MatsuJun for the first time, I was very excited too (didn't like the pic with the bright pink background tho @_@). When I clicked on it to check out the profiles, did anyone else notice that Ohno suddenly has a profile and is listed with the other band members on JDorama? Before there was nothing for him! lol, and he has only one drama listed... Oh-kun! You need more dorama in your life!

BTW: I just got back from Little Tokyo in L.A. a few hours ago and was it ever CRAZY. Walking, sweating, crowds, street vendors.... And then $40 for just one CD at Kinokuniya! Plus I didn't find the ONE album or anything with 15th Moon on it (that was my goal today). :puppydog:
But instead I bought the Iza, Now and Here We Go! albums! :yippee:

I really like the natural backgrounds and light green/white scheme they used for Iza, Now but I was a bit disappointed with the Here We Go album. Only a couple of black and white pictures and then all of the lyrics laid out on a gigantic map-like folded-up piece of white paper. o_O Haven't gotten a chance to listen to them yet. Gomen, I would post pics if I had a scanner. >< Someday, someday... *shakes fist*

[off-topic: poor KAT-TUN got pulled out of the parade after 3 blocks because they were being mobbed by fangirls and even papparazzi - you can check out their thread or the Nisei Festival Week thread if you want to read about it :shakehead:]

I THINK i have the Nuresman special that has Sho and that TOKIO guy (sorry i don't know his name  ) somewhere....so i will go and find it....

and i have the short NHK drama called [To-ki-o] with Sho as the lead actor together with TOKIO guy called ... (different guy from the one acting as the nurse). The story was based on a novel about father-son relationship...think they have...ermm...11 episodes each about 15 min i think...watched that long time ago but i got to search my room ....but no subtitles...so not sure if anyone wants it.....

but it won't be so soon cause i will be quite busy starting from tomorrow...but i will see if i can find them in my messy room
no promises....
but do let me know if you all want them even tho there are no subs

Himitsu, girl... i just have one word to say to you... MITAI!!!!!! :yippee:

before this, i only buy doramas with subs... but after i've been caught by the 'storm'... u can't imagine how many doramas of the members that i bought, with or without subs... i watched Yoiko no Mikata w/o subs... and amazingly, i could laugh and cry at all the right places (i think?? hehe). of course i want To-ki-o... there's no way the thing's going to be subbed or sold here in Malaysia... at least i don't think so...

and... uhumm... Nurseman Supeshiaru? pretty please?

take your time dearie... it's not like this 'uploading-files-for-us' is your 9 to 5 job... but if it IS a job, i would have gladly do it... even though underpaid...LOL

actually i'm more of ohno's fan... but since most of my lovely friends(u know who you are  ), including my twin; like him... u can say that i like to join the fun! he's really not someone you can take lightly of... ne... Bambi?? :naughty:

yeah, i've noticed that... you know what, it was weird when his profile was not listed with the other members in this site. When my sister started her 'Arashiology' course 6 months ago... she actually thought that o-chan had quitted from the group... LOL. what a confusion!

@fybabe and nacchan... hontouni arigatou for your 'personal' ul that you guys pasted for me on the thread... to see my name on the postings where u included the links... :puppydog: awww... u guys are so sweet...

and also to everyone that have been busy figuring out thousands of ways to contribute in this thread. it's awesome. this sort of consistency, i've never seen in any other threads related to arashi... no thread can top us, guys!!!~

btw, i realized that i have problems downloading from megaupload... which means i can't dl the Ni no Arashi clips and also the chibi sho clips.... :argh:

 DITTO...

he's so cute when he's speaking english... he will always have the weird expression, "can i do this?" before saying something in english. but he speaks quite differently than most Japanese do.

Another thing... i know that sho is really intelligent and he's also bilingual(japanese+English) and this is really a stupid question, but i'll ask anyway. I was wondering if his comprehension in english is excellent, i mean, if he were to read the postings on the thread, would he understood all the slangs and 'double meanings' that we've typed? has anyone ever written any letter to him in english, and got a reply from him or something?
(stupid question, dalinee :grumble: )

well, i better stop and cover my head with paper bags.... :ashamed: :ashamed: :ashamed:

I didnt think he was bilingual as he used a translator on the Vegas show, but reading english and understanding spoken american english is alot different... my japanese friends in japan never understand me unless I speak "katakana english" - the infamous engrish...gotta love it but the other side is its hard for me to understand "katakana engrish"

but usually they can read and write it better than speak and understand it, just from my experiences, so I'm not trying to generalize or say that it's true about Sho

Hey Dalinee!

I'm not sure if Sho can understand all the 'double-meanings' in English. Of course, I could be wrong because his Mom is an Eng Lit professor, ne? My friends in Japan studied Eng Lit and they understand some of the slang, etc. once it was explained to them. (In fact, they kept using the slang a lot.) Now you've got me thinking...I'd love to have a conversation with Sho in English & try to use what little Japanese I know  ...hehe. Since he seems to really like rap & hip-hop, I wonder if he knows some of that slang.

And you're right, he does kinda change a little when speaking English. He's becomes very polite-kawaii! (Like my mix of Eng & Japanese? :shakehead: )

Oh, and when you have a chance, please check your inbox  .

yamaP_007:

Welcome to the thread :woot: ! I can send you a short clip from the New York special where Sho's speaking English, if u want?

I could be wrong, but I think he used a translator so that he could continue speaking Japanese on the show, since it would be broadcast in Japan. I guess I just figured they did that so they wouldn't have to subtitle Sho.

And yeah, from my experience too...the people I met in Japan understood English better than they could speak it (kinda like my Spanish  ), but some of the college students I met had an easier time conversing in English. Maybe the same is true Sho-kun. Again, I'm also not trying to make any broad speculations about all Japanese people.

dun worry. i doubt any of those guys understand english. in fact, i doubt they're good in maths or geography or sometimes even common sense... hahahaha
in my opinion, they're pretty kawaii baka...

jun probably only uses the pc for games, aiba and nino... doubt they can tell the difference between 'keyboards'... ohno is the only guy who's probably into the pc/mac for photoshop etc..., but i think he's allergic to anything english.
though sho is a 'keio boy', i doubt he studies hard enough... hahaha... and if he does, he says that he only watches like discovery channel or news...
nah... none of them will ever come 500 miles near this thread...
say what you want girls!!!

EDIT

hmm... i'm actually getting used to w/me...
ya! now i can listen to the One album without skipping songs!

Hehe... bella-italia (can i give a new term for your version of mixed lingo? i think "Janglish" would be appropriate...or wait, does the term already existed...? )

i can imagine you talking to sho under the sakurai...opps, sakura tree... heheh... ii desu ne? he's the sort of guy i can imagine talking to for hours without ever getting bored.

About his mom an English Lit professor, the first time i knew bout it... i just thought... "sugoii na..." if she's anything like my mom, i'm sure sho's english would be 'kampeki' . but since i don't know Mrs. Sakurai... it's hard to tell... my sensei who studied in Japan, he said that to him, english class in Japan is kinda like Japanese class, because they end up translating english book into japanese... haha... in malaysia, even tho english is not our national lingo, all the english class that i've been in school, never mixed english with malay(my mother's tongue) teachers taught us english, using english... so i was a bit surprised to know that Japanese write english in katakana... no wonder it's very difficult for them... not that i can be proud of my japanese... :beaten:
