I've never had a durian, but dalinee has described it to me, so I'm very curious to try it. I'm not even sure where to find it here. Wouldn't that be a great D no Arashi ep to see the guys trying completely foreign foods :rofl: ? The most entertaining "taste-tester" would of course be Oh-chan!

And in which episode did Leader taste an 11 year old cola? I would love to see that. *goes searching thru D no Arashi eps*

I think it was cola because it was still full of gas when they opened it and the episode if the 22-09-2004 where they visit an abandoned restaurant and hospital. I have it if you want. But tonight, my internet connection is being very bitchy and disconnecting every time.

To me durian smells like a cross between gasoline+onions+burned sugar. The flesh is butery,creamy and sweet with slightly bitter taste in the end. YUM!
Thinking about sending 2 or 3 durians to the boys....hmmm.Hopefully leader will say UMAI!!

It would be great to see Ohno taste a durian. I wonder how he'd react when he first saw what it looked like. Have you guys noticed how Oh-chan kinda blinks his eyes a few times when he's tasting something? It's so kawaii. It looks as though he really thinking about what he's tasting. It's so funny :rofl: . There was one "Best Of" D no Arashi ep where they showed a bunch of clips of Ohno tasting food. The sequence ended with him looking at the screen with a really serious face saying, "UMAI!" It was hilarious! I wish I could remember which ep it was...gotta go look for it.

Ne minna.. Just now I've been browsing through my music folder, I realise that apart from the "One" tracks, I didn't add any new Arashi songs for the last three months. I really want to have the complete collection and I believe that many of u also do so. I only count the released tracks coz the live+con rips are too hard to count @@

Then sooner or later we will cover the whole collection, so the current bunch of ppl will have all of the songs (unless they didn't come online or sthg :/) ^__^.. What do u think?

i like durian too, but i don't eat much recently... my parents always seemed to buy durians at the worst times, when we had to meet a lot of people... i have yet figured out a way to 'destench' my mouth after a session of 'durian feast'. maybe i should just eat durian, then go to Japan, and talk to Ohno... try to imagine his face, minna.... :naughty:

the consistent reaction from the guys when their smelling something :bleh: :
1) Ohno - he often took more than once to register what he's smelling, once when he was smelling a stinky sock, sho had to bring it near to ohno's nose 3 times, until that dazed bloke finally realized the stench... :nut:
2) Sho - like i said before, he will suddenly looked like he was zapped by lightning.
3) Aiba - sometimes he will totally overreact, even tho the smell isn't that bad... he's easily influenced by other pples reaction, then he'll have this 'puked' face... cho kawaiii...
4) Nino - he would pinch his nose or sumthing, it's a rare sight to see him smelling things, usually the lil' devil will give all the foul-smelling things for others to smell... he will often stand like 'miles'... looking from afar...
5) Jun - he will have the 'puked' face, and then his fave word... "Kuso!"

I think this would be an awesome idea (despite the fact that it IS technically a violation of copyright naws, no matter what rotation sites say - have YOU ever deleted your files? :sweat:).
Although I'm not against a downloadable MP3 rotation site, I think the best way around this would be for us to have a webring of radioblogs (like the one I'm listening to right now ;)), that way people can sample ARASHI music without stealing.
What do you guys think? Personally, I can go either way. :rolleyes:

I've been kinda waiting for my fandom to overwhelm my life before I started one and I think I've gone way past that point. :nut:
What I would really like to focus on is a complimation of lyrical translations. A place where a fan can find tons of translations to their favorite ARASHI song. I've been collecting the ones you guys have been posting for some time now. :mrgreen:
We could also post links to various places to download D no Arashi, MagoMago, etc. like clubboxes and jpopsuki (is this also copyright infringement?? :confused:). I've noticed that a majority of our thread runs this way, so it'd be nice if can just put it all in one place.

Don't tell me u don't like belacan.... actually i don't eat much tempoyak either... when my mom cooks 'gulai tempoyak ikan patin'(Patin Fish Tempoyak Soup, heheh) that's when i'll really dig to the last drop... yummy... and belacan... yummy....
