I couldn't stop from giggling as I read ur descriptions of the guys' reactions when they smell things! You are so right :rofl: !!! All this talk about durians has really made me want to find out what they taste like!
About trying to figure out how to take durians to Japan so Ohno-kun can taste...I've come up with a few ideas, but I don't think any of them will work...will let you know if I come up with something! :woot:

And yes, natto does taste REALLY bad! My Japanese friend told me that it tasted better than it smelled...hehe, yeah, that wasn't true. It tasted EXACTLY as it smelled. I tried to be polite when I ate it, but inside I was trying to stop myself from gagging :bleh: . But hey, at least I can say I've tried natto. I'll pretty much try anything once.
Don't tell me u don't like belacan.... actually i don't eat much tempoyak either... when my mom cooks 'gulai tempoyak ikan patin'(Patin Fish Tempoyak Soup, heheh) that's when i'll really dig to the last drop... yummy... and belacan... yummy....

We could also post links to various places to download D no Arashi, MagoMago, etc. like clubboxes and jpopsuki (is this also copyright infringement?? :confused:). I've noticed that a majority of our thread runs this way, so it'd be nice if can just put it all in one place.

i know, when it comes to certain thing, what we're doing isn't very noble, lol... demo, try to imagine if we were too strict about being 'legal', i wouldn't have known or even like these 5 guys...
even when i've downloaded so many things from this place, i still go and search for their stuff to buy, it's a way for me to appreciate their hard work. i just think that the one responsible for the merchandise selling should have given us, fans from outside Japan more consideration, ne? if i were to wait just to buy a few legal stuff... i bet there would only be like 5 person per country that would have known about them... there's not much arashi's stuff to buy on the shops, even if they have them. i can't order anything online too...
but this is just my opinion... we have always dloaded lots of arashi's files in this thread, it would be a bit...well, inappropriate to start wondering about being 'legal'. even my conscience would blow my head... so i prefer to ignore them sometimes... gomen guys...

We have this very unusual Easter delicacy in Finland called Mammi (the A letter should have 2 dots on it)

I may sound weird, and usually foreigners think its bad, but I think thats just because their not used to it. Actually one finnish interviewer made Anastacia, Viggo Mortensen, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson eat mammi. Well Viggo did eat it and even said it was delicious, Ben and Owen ate it too but said it tastes and lookes like sh*t, but Anastacia was like yuck, "im not eating that". Pretty rude eh?
But really if you ever come to finland you should try mammi. I bet I could get funny expressions out of Arashi feeding mammi to them :D

Like I was telling, dalinee, I think an acquired dish that might be interesting to see the Arashi guys try would be menudo. For those who don't know what this is, it's basically a soup with tripe AKA cow's intestines. If the Arashi boys can stand the smell of natto, then they can take menudo :bleh: :bleh: :bleh: ! The only other dishes I can think of would be 'lengua' (cow tongue), barbacoa (meat from the cheek of a pig), pigs feet, or frog legs.

Well, the celebrities ate it without cream, so no wonder they thought it was bad. I myself like mammi only with cream and sometimes also sugar. You can eat mammi only like one set, cos it makes your tongue go numb with the taste, well I does that to me atleast. You know the feeling when you cant eat something same anymore? Well mammi does that after one set :D Depends on the person though.
