ohno sounds good in any songs basically. and he's got a nice solo rain. i like that song too!
i just wished that jun also has a more mellow solo like la familiar in the One album. i think la f suits him more than w/me. i feel he's a pretty reflective guy and he should do more ballads. i absolutely adored his once more time once more chance perf, ie. once i got pass the bad singing... haha...
but then again i think i wouldn't be as touched if it was sung by a better singer coz his artless delivery of that song and the earnestness in which he performed it really touched me deeply. i'm not usually a sucker for ballads (esp that er...voice), but now i'm just so addicted to that song...
I'm not a real ohno fan, but not even I can decide which of his solos is the best! :sweat:
As for Jun, I have to agree with fybabe, I also wished for a song like La Familia, or at least a song with more lyrics and you have to admit that in w/me there were more background singers than matsujun's voice, right?
It didn't have to be a ballade again, but Jun please a few more lyrics by you are appreciated in you next solo.... :bow: ...oh and please keep that strip thing, would like to see that next year!
i can't help it...i LOVE w/me...it sounds soooooo 80s dance!! and i love my 80s sounds! but i like the quirkiness of Jun's voice...i can't help listening to Don't Cry several times in a row...his voice works really well with the songs he sings

I don't like rapping too much, but I think that Sho's solo UntiUnti sounds really really good, I listen to it every day on my mp3-player along with rain and w/me... :say_cool:
At least all of them can sing, not like Smap (omg their live at ms where arashi sang lai-lai-lai was just horrible, not even kimura's and goro's voice could save them!! well, that's another topic..^^)
In my opinion Nino's voice is also very good, it is perfect for ballades like konseki... :thumbsup:

I like JunLs voice very much in La familia, I like the rythm in W/ME, but I have to accept that his voice is sometimes a little *high-toned* for my ears :beaten: ... but if we talked about ShoLs voice... I always like it, rapping or singing I think he has a good voice (although I was hearing Suppin con and he didnLt sing really well there :sweat: )

please dun compare our talented guys with smap... those guys can't sing to save their lives!!!
and i totally disagree with natchan on sho. he's not the classical singer like ohno, but i feel he is the one that makes arashi sound like arashi.
without sho's rapping, and i do love his rapping, arashi would just sound like any other jpop band with a better singer that's all. sho, above all the other guys, defines the style of arashi. i mean, look at all their songs. overture would not be overture without sho. a day in your life would lose the interesting mix without sho's rapping. and i can go on and on with the list... how can jidai be without sho?
ohno is too melodic to be a rapper. jun and nino are too nasal. aiba lacks the edge.

Dachan, it's a strange comment you have on the chorus of girls behind a male song thing... coz alot of male singers/groups are supported by girls!
loads of rappers have girl choruses eg. black eyed pea, usher, etc... come to think of it, nearly every male singer out there could be supported by females...
and i can't even imagine arashi without rapping at all...

of all of jun's hair styles, i prefer his Kindaichi and current looks...short hair fits him best for me.
but you could always go with Ohno's WSS hair...i miss his blonde hair!
i don't know how i can be a fan of arashi without sho. take him away, and we'll lose a big x-factor of arashi.
ohno has a great voice, so does alot of other singers. there are also loads of better rappers than sho. but i feel that if they are to go their separate ways (never never!), they will not be as special.
coz to me, arashi sound is melodic + rapping = arashi new sound. those solos in the one album are nice, but it can be branded any other bands too. coz unfortunately they don't write their own songs, and so their style can only be based on their individual delivery and so all 5 of them count.

like really straight and long. i really wonder what he'll look like crew cut? or punkish short, not kindaichi but more like beckham? i just feel that he above all the other guys can go as experimental as he likes.

Hehe, usher and so on, that's just Why I don't like girls chorus: it reminds me them!! :bleh: Sorry but I dislike RnB's particularities... And Arashi's rap never used girls chorus, thanks god, and there's no need for that to me.
And even if I don't like rap, I think Sho's rap is fine, and really makes the Arashi songs prettier! And I don't know if he is a "good" singer or not, but since he can sing well his songs that's enough! ^_^ Yume de ii kara is a cool song!

i gotta admit i cried too for that once more time, once more chance song... ok, laugh, whatever... i know the vocal is bizarre... but the delivery was just simply touching.

@paito-chan, most of the songs could be found on jpopsuki.com or in someones clubbox. if u really want to listen to the songs, u should support Arashi by buying their albums and singles...
as for sho's rapping and singing, arashi is made up of these 5 guys who were all chosen to blend well together making arashi what they are today.. so sho's rapping and singing is an integral part of the group just as ohno is the main vocalist... comparing to other groups, these 5 guys have equal parts in the singing... they all have talents that makes arashi unique
