My older sister influenced me to read this thing, and i thought "this is cool, huh". I really liked the original work. I think that this dorama will be a change in popularity from the Taiwanese version. In this production my staff and costars will make Hana Yori Dango different. This will mean we're together as a group for a long time. Right now doing the scenes isn't easy. This is going to be a new school drama for me I think.
I think the japanese MG will be much, much better, cause they have really talented young actors. I haven't watched the chinese MG completely, but my girlfriends did, and they were totally swooning over those sucky actors. Yeah, I admit they look cool, but the story was lame. I heard they caused a F4-craze in a lot of east-asian places where MG was broadcasted. And aren't they showing MG in Japan now? I heard they are becoming famous there, and a chinese wave is coming there, with artists like Jay Chou.
Anyway, I hope MatsuJun Oguri Shun and other cute J-boys will get the succes they deserve.

hey jessica, i went to hmv recently but I don't see them. I only saw the Arashi music albums.
wahaa!! i'm so excited jun's gonna be in this drama. SUCH a good manga. the anime kinda sucked in my opinion. but i can't wait to see this show!! but jun doesn't look like a doumyouji! he's so pretty.

HMV at heeren has TONS of ONE albums. I got Iza now from there. There's a few copies left. I saw 5x5 too..perhaps How's it going cd is still there..cant remember.

Hi everyone. I've been reading this thread for a few months and recently felt compelled to post due to news of Jun's role in the new HYD drama. I'm super excited like all of you.
I have read the whole manga series and really admire its staying power over the years and continual fanbase growth through the drama medium. I'm hoping the writers of this new live action drama will set the time period to present day and therefore sparing Jun from caterpillar hair like one of the guys in Color Me Badd (if any of you can remember them) :hehe:
I think Doumyouji will be a great character for Jun since he's such a complicated character. I am confident Jun will not disappoint. Go Jun! :woot:

yeah, theres a crazy chinese wave going on in japan, which is interesting. not sure if they're showing MG or not but i think they may be... i know that f4 is huge there now, and im sure jay chou is as well. so its interesting, if the japanese version of HYD live action comes out and MG is still airing or just aired... but i'm confident that jun's performance will be AWESOME. sorry for the partly off-topic-ness. but yay jun! :victory: i cant wait to see his performance as doumyouji-- i'm sure he'll carry it out better than jerry, hahaha. but aww. angry jun? :nut:

:woot: What a coincidence that we were all just mentioning that Jun is long overdue for a new drama and voila! I'm not a fan at all of the Taiwanese F4 (*singing off-key* "pei ni qu kan liu xing yu...") but I'm convinced that any drama with Jun and Oguri Shun cannot be bad.
Fy-chan, I'm pretty sure Japanese dramas film only a couple weeks or so before the episodes air. That's how it was with Yasashii Jikan, non? So Jun will have tons of time in September and October to film the eps.

I just finished watching 2 old episodes of Mago Mago and I noticed (only now ....which shows that I'm a baka one lol) that in one episode, Sho called Ohno "Satoshi kun" and in the other, Aiba called Nino "Kazu chan" (kawaii, ne?). When I heard that I thought it was cute. We don't often hear them calling the others by their first name. :mrgreen:

*new topic* so i was listening to all of the arashi songs i have including their songs from Jrs. and they have really improved! their voices are more melodic and in harmony... :victory: i love the ONE album soo much, especially Subarashiki Sekai, Natsu no Namae and Romance. i love how they blend their voices and each have equal solos in the songs and it isnt just oh chan anymore. :sweat: but YAY :victory: for ARASHI!

ok, my 2 farthings on the new drama: i'm very glad that jun has a new drama. i hope his version of doumyoji will surpass the taiwanese version and meet the expectations of the manga. his being teamed once again with oguri shun, is great. i love to see them both together.
i'll certainly look forward to watching the drama in october since i love watching jun.
as for the ONE concert DVD, i really hope that they will release it. looks like most of the members of Arashi is super busy this coming fall season. Ohno and Aiba with their butais and Sho with the filming of Honey and Clover, Jun with his dorama. that leaves Nino, whom we have no news yet.
