I do remember, back in school, we once played soccer against the girls... Oivech... I've never seen so many foul attacks. Almost like a game in the World Championship Finals.

I'd love a strong educational lesson. :hehe:

You can top a pizza with almost anything.

I'm sure you could, but you'd be buzzed to say the least, if not on a full-blown trip. :beaten:

My friend told me he ate one of those things back in high school and sat at a bus stop giggling and laughing for several hours. :shakehead:

Ya know, I've never "done" things before. I've never even smoked a cig, which is surprising because almost all the friends I grew up with smoke.

On Topic: I don't know if I posted this already, but a colleague of mine, who I get along wonderfully with, asked me to go out with him. Problem is, he's married. When I told him that was impossible, because I'm NOT a home wrecker, he was like "but you're young!"

:dotdotdot:

I wasn't aware that being young meant I was open to having an affair...

Keep clear of this person... Avoid any association whatsoever. :bleh:

Like beem said... be VERY firm.

You deserve MUCH better than that :)

I've been trying to, but it's hard because he works in the office closest to my office. I'm also quite upset that he did this because we were great friends before. I've often helped him with his lessons and vice versa, and I've gone out with him (and others) numerous times and had a blast. Now I can't look at him properly without wondering if he thinks I'm coming on to him. :bleh:

When he gets too friendly, hold up a large cross covered with garlic cloves.

I hate when something like this happens. It's like the trust and respect is gone. I've had this happen, not with a co-worker, but with a patient. He and his wife are really sweet and friendly and I got along with them great. Then one day, he showed up at my work place when my boss wasn't there and made a blatant pass at me, which makes me shudder to this day whenever I think about it. :( (I think I told this story before..oh well)

I'll buy the garlic tomorrow.

What gets me is THIS is the guy who was adamant that I report another colleague who had smacked my behind. What a hypocrite. I should tip his wife. I've met her.

He was probably jealous that he didn't think of it first...

A well-placed zap with the ol' knee works as well as pepper spray. :beaten:

Yikes, I totally missed this post!

Yea, it really does suck, but I'd rather not be chums with someone who thinks that dating another woman while married is normal.

I've used that zapping method twice before. :hehe: Excellent results, I must say.

If he said anything more to me about it Id tell him no one with such crappy standards was allowed to talk to me. And if it wasnt something regarding work he should shut up. :shakehead:
I believe in being straightforward. :hehe:

From Yahoo! Personals:

10 Holiday Gifts That Could Ruin a Romance

Dec 12, 2007

We asked Yahoo! Personals users what they should avoid giving to girlfriends or boyfriends. Here's what they told us.

Gift to avoid #1:
Unless you are planning on proposing, avoid gifting jewelry, especially a ring, as that perceived level of commitment may intimidate your sweetheart.

Gift to avoid #2:
While a ring may be considered overboard, anything impersonal, such as a kitchen appliance or gift card can be construed as thoughtless or insincere.

Gift to avoid #3:
Avoid gifting lingerie for your first holidays together. It may be considered too intimate and send the wrong message.

Gift to avoid #4:
Gifting something selfish, such as sporting event tickets when you know your significant other isn't a sports fan, can relay that you may be more focused on your own interests than that of the person you are getting the gift for.

Lump-of-coal award winner: The boyfriend who bought his girlfriend a Wii. Turns out that she wasn't a gamer, he just needed a place to put the Wii because he already had an Xbox and Playstation 3 at his house.

Gift to avoid #5:
gWork-related items that promote efficiency at the office should generally be avoided.h
Work-related items that promote efficiency at the office should generally be avoided. Why bring up "work" during the holidays, which is a time for relaxation.

Gift to avoid #6:
Clothing may be offensive, especially if you aren't sure about what size to purchase.

Gift to avoid #7:
Animals as presents are generally bad ideas unless you know the person very well. Pets are huge commitments and way too serious for a "first holiday" together.

Lump-of-coal award winner: The boyfriend who gave his girlfriend a rabbit that died the next day.

Lump of irony award winner: The boyfriend who gave his girlfriend a puppy. The puppy required so much time and attention that the girl didn't have any time left over for the boyfriend.

Gift to avoid #8:
Re-gifting is never a good idea, especially if it's a gift from a past relationship.

Gift to avoid #9:
Forget cliches, such as boxes of chocolates or flowers. They show little thought or effort.

Gift to avoid #10:
Avoid gifts that may suggest that your significant other needs to change something about himself/herself, such as exercise clothes or gym equipment, which may say that he/she doesn't look good enough as he/she is.
