Saw something last night on sake. I don't know if you guys have it. It's a show about a guy getting drunk everywhere in the world. The Thirsty Traveler. He visited a place in Kyoto where they produce it. The place was huge. They had tons of rice in 900kg bags and could cook 80 000 kg of rice a day. :nut:

For the most part, it looked pretty easy to do. It only have to age between 15 to 40 days.

i don't think this show is available in southern California...but i have seen programs similar starring Dave Atell and Tony Bourdain exploring major cities in Japan while getting drunk as a muthaf*cker.....fun stuff.

:hehe: Yup. Sounds like that.

There's a short sample on the website, but it's mostly showing the guy buying a drink from a vending machine and then going to a capsule hotel. I didn't see that part yesterday.

edit: if they look like itoh misaki did in kiken na aneki i don't mind if they are a Kyabakura-jo :beaten:

hehe I don't think they'd look like Misaki Itoh. :)

Thanks for the spelling btw.

I did some research on it. I think I'd prefer spending money on postcards. From 2,000 to 5,000 for 50 minutes. Look at the staff. One girl isn't pretty at all. She must be working only during the last call to empty the place. :beaten: :hehe: They are prettier in other clubs, but it still too expensive to practice japanese.
