nuthin' special for me....the occasional beer, i guess. the weather in l.a. has been rather funky....hasn't remained sunny for more than a few days at a time.

i had 5 Smithwicks last night, a 4 finger shot of Blue Azule Reposado Tequila and a Leffe.

not much, just job searching here.....
i remember a few years back, actually book a flight to japan, and couldn't resserve any hotel accomodations, not knowing at the time of "golden week", so i cancelled the trip, and went the next year after Golden Week, when there were plenty of hotels available. :thumbsup:

Stay positive qilver! :woot: I usually forget about "Golden Week" except that I have a Japanese MB friend who reminds me of it every year. Thank goodness! :D This year "Golden Week" goes from 4/29 through Sunday May 7th because it started on a weekend.

Hmmm maybe I should drink a "Golden Dream" in honor of it! Yeah awright it is a chic's drink! :woot: :D

Golden Dream Recipe:

A creamy cocktail with fruity flavors. Skip the cream and blend the other ingredients with ice cream for a frozen treat.
INGREDIENTS:

3/4 oz cream
3/4 oz orange juice
3/4 oz Cointreau
3/4 oz Galliano
PREPARATION:

Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

mm... Smithwick's is Irish Ale, Leffe is... hmm.. european, not sure where it's from... but your gotta drink it out of a round goblet, wierd how that makes it better.

Yeah, I kind of remember the Abbey part now... i was rather tipsy when i read that bottle. But it was a pretty good tasting drink. :victory:

Thanks! :wave: Draw on your face, huh!!!! :hehe: :hehe: Yeah I walk around with some color makers in my pocket just in case! :hehe: I don't drink much beer but I have to remember to ask for that the next time I am in the mood for a nice cold one. :woot:

i dont drink beer that much either, usually i sip liquors... the Blue Azule Tequilla i had with the t-bone was wonderful.

i ususally alternate when i drink japanese beers...as discussed it's harder to get the stuff that's actually brewed in japan.
