to continue my ranting...

I went to the store yesterday to pick up some pasta and ground beef for dinner.. and i walkdown the beer aisle and i see they had Sapporro Reserve on sale, 2/$4, not bad. and i noticed it said "Imported", never noticed, so i get excited, and i put up a few drop it in my basket, and while im in line, i read the can.... Imported FROM CANADA!$!@#!@#!@

that's not imported... canada is like the US's little brother. :usuck: :grumble:

it was embarrassing telling the cute cashier that i didn't want those 4 cans anymore. :shamefulcry: :beaten:

that's why i mentioned that story about "Yebisu" to you...Yebisu was the original Sapporo Reserve...and it USED to be imported from Japan...with a Gold Label...and then they stopped importing for a looong while and it came back under the Sapporo Reserve label...made in Canada..

last time i drank yebisu here in the states was over a meal at matsuhisa's ....

To tell you the truth, it's problably brewed by Molson Coors or Labatt. For all we know, this could be a Labatt 50, also know as horse p!ss. :hehe:

I checked their web site, and all the imported beer from Corona to German and Belgian beer are brewed here. =T

Hungary workers get shock at bottom of rum barrel source
Thu May 4, 9:49 AM ET

BUDAPEST (Reuters) - Hungarian builders who drank their way to the bottom of a huge barrel of rum while renovating a house got a nasty surprise when a pickled corpse tumbled out of the empty barrel, a police magazine website reported.

According to online magazine www.zsaru.hu, workers in Szeged in the south of Hungary tried to move the barrel after they had drained it, only to find it was surprisingly heavy and were shocked when the body of a naked man fell out.

The website said that the body of the man had been shipped back from Jamaica 20 years ago by his wife in the barrel of rum in order to avoid the cost and paperwork of an official return.

According to the website, workers said the rum in the 300-liter barrel had a "special taste" so they even decanted a few bottles of the liquor to take home.

The wife has since died and the man was buried in a proper grave.
