Ew. :bleh: I don't envy you, otosan.

Professional Development days are such a waste of time.

There are days when jury duty actually looks way better than being at work. Especially lately.

>>pelts you with wynter love<< At least you're doing your country/government a service. At least yer being an active citizen. A forced active citizen, but who's lookin'? :beaten:

I HATE it when teachers a abuse their powers. There's this history teacher who refused to help her own students for their presentation, so these students came to me. I helped them out and even went into their classroom to help set up the LCD and computer. Today they came to me with an apology note and a gift, saying that they're teacher was really upset with them for having put me "out" and that they were being irresponsible.

What a load of bull! I VOLUNTEERED to help them because they're teacher was being a bitch. If anything, SHE should be apologizing for not only NOT supporting her kids, but also for forcing them to seek help from another teacher totally disconnected to her course. bah!

No crap this week: Boss lady and family are in Hong Kong all week. :victory: :woot: :dancing:

Still busy at work, but without the micromanagement crapola. :victory:

Boss-less days are usually great days. But my new boss went on her vacation without doing all she was supposed to do which makes the project I'm working on (due tomorrow) more complicated than it should be :grumble:

She probably just feels threaten by a younger woman who knows how computers work. What a b!tch. Is spanking stupid teachers allowed in your school?

The students are great though. They bought you a present, even if it wasn't needed. :applaud:

At this point, I would TOTALLY risk it. :banghead:

Yea, they were sweet boys. One of them I swear is the next Bill Gates. Every few years a student walks into your class, and all you can say is "genius".

Nice. Is it the same for future inmate?

Something I've always wondered, is there really a "permanent record" that follows you around? Do you know ahead of time who is going to be in your class, you check their "permanent record" and think "This kid is going to be trouble" [/list:u]

There is, but this is passed from Admin to admin. There's stuff available for teachers, but these records usually get erased between the transition of schools (middle school to highschool). However, I can track a kid in grade 12 back to grade 9 because the records follow him through highschool. I just sucks that sometimes we have no clue what the kid was like in middle school because the information hasn't been passed on.
