Right now, I'm at 100%. :beaten:

I am also 100% :hehe:

My morning sucked - my company organised a conference in Paris and I ended up having my train seat booked next to 3 top senior managers from my company. They all had their laptops, Blackberries and presentations to work on. I, on the other hand, had just the UK edition of Elle with me! :beaten:
All I wanted was to sleep a bit, read my fashion magazine and some Mangas - but no - I had to read the FT (thank god it got distributed for free in 1st class) and pretend that I care about the business I am working in. It was painful :bleh:

I would like to empathize Esther, really, but a trip to Paris sounds a whole lot better than my daily drive to East L.A. :beaten:

Agreed, my trip was nice. Hanging out with 3 super senior alpha males at 7am was less so.

I got home on Sunday night and didn't sleep until midnight. Then I had to work Monday morning. It was a really hard day yesterday. Mind you, I took a long nap when I got home and everything is find today. I just feel overwhelmed because there are so many things happening for me this week. Especially with extra curricular. I'm a little peeved that I wasn't allowed to take Monday off. I have a lot of perks with this job, but sometimes they're just not enough. :grumble:

I could have, but I would have gotten a slap on the wrist, because they'd know it was because of the trip.

Background info: We're not allowed to take days off of school time for international trips. They get anal over it.

What peeves me is that I really AM sick. I wouldn't just be calling in because of the jet lag. :grumble:

If you were lagged 'cause of thye trip you might as well have stayed home: being ineffective at work is like being at home anyways... Without the PJs and fuzzy slippers. :beaten:

That'll go down well. :)

One of our Japanese suppliers sent us a pile of shirts a while ago in blue and pink: We never bothered opening them, because in the past all the shirts that came from Japan were really small. But I opened one the other day, and they are perfect! :victory: Free shirts! (Well, blue ones anyhow)

Back to work!
I finally had 2 days off (I had been working on weekends all March) - yet not chuffed to be back. Thank god most people are on vacation right now. At least it's quiet - why didn't I bring my pyjamas
