I got a nice pay rise today, without asking. The bad news is, I have to put in a lot more effort :( Which means less time here :(

I think my boss knew I wasn't very happy.

This means it may take you longer to watch Churasan than it took in the original airing in Japan. On the other hand it will feel like a lifelong companion. :bleh:

That's why we spread the word. No one acknowledges the violence against men.

I just got shoved into the most boring training at work ever. Had to sub for a boss who wouldn't be in this week.

Not a whole lot of detail on explanations, no analogies or clever examples, and not even a hint of humour. Add in the fact that the whole topic is something I don't even deal with at my role, and you've pretty much lost my interest since I can't buy into the stuff.

Even our instructor himself was yawning at certain points within his lecture. That's how bad it was.

And I have two days more to go.

Wish it was that easy...

But I do remember a year or two back that I finished up a whole Kdrama exclusively during work lunch hours. They probably didn't find it that weird back then that I was always at my desk during lunch... :hehe:

Oh no - I have a three day training as of Wednesday. Problem itLs in-house, meaning that during lunch and in the evening ILll be working.

I find booooring trainings actually more tiring than the really difficult and challenging ones :tired:

LOL! I've done that, except I had to hide in empty classrooms with my laptop in order to pull that off. :hehe:

On Topic: A few weeks ago I noticed that a male student of mine was playing with his Tamagotchi. So I told him the story about how the first wave of these toys came out back when I was in grade 6, and how one day my sister borrowed it and then lost it in the school's playground. I was very upset, and never bought one again.

So today, while I'm teaching my period 4 computer art class, this same male student drops in and gives me a Tamagotchi! He works for me in the Yearbook Committee and said this was a present to thank me "for being so awesome". Kawaii! I told him I'd pay for it and forced him to take the cash. The thought was enough!

So now I have a tamagotchi and I'm hooked already! It's a boy, and I named him Tordi. :D

Eeeeeeeeh? What rock have you been hiding under? Tamagotchis are digital pets, typically you raise them from an "egg" until they die of old age.

My kids had them too. SO annoying... They have made a comeback though. My girls have one each, cost them $2 each :)

Seriously, I've never heard of them. The price you pay for trying to have a life. :ashamed:
