It's Friday...

So it's time for management here to wake up from their four-day hibernation and go into Chinese Fire Drill mode.

Un-freaking-believable. :shakehead: :grumble: :smack:

hahahaha. We had a fire drill this past week. Was alright because I was on a bank run and upon my return, everyone was outside of the building. So I decided to grab my lunch and managed to eat it while the drill was going on.
After the drill, I went back to the office and took my hour lunch break. :hehe: With nothing to do, I smoked my brains out while reading a good book. (Pocket Mortgage Guide - or something like that)
What a great (almost) 2 hour lunch it was! :hehe:

:bleh:

Should I stay with my 6am - 2:30pm shift or change to the 2pm - 9:30pm shift as my supervisor is "testing the waters" with. Im the only one that can do that shift (because i dont need to be supervised), and we need to clear a space for another employee, without adding desks/computers.

i think i should keep pressing for a 4d/10hr schedule...

*sigh*

That's the golden rule. :hehe:

It pays to be the slacker and not the one who busts their butts at work.

I used to read Dilbert, but the characters got tiresome over time.

I sure do miss The Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes. :puppydog:

Yeah, there are some days where the material seems to be stretching, but most days the material applies.

Far Side was the best. I love the daily calendar where I got a new one each day. My favorite? Something called Stupid Birds. It involves two birds, a fire in a tree, and the birds using a rope to climb down.

Yeah, I've gotten a number of those 365-day calendars over the years... I usually save the really good ones like "Einstein discovers that time IS money" or the two tigers/lions/cheetahs that say "Forget these guys" when they see the "turbo" logo on a bunch of antelope... :hehe: Great stuff.

I can't possibly nail down one absolute favorite Far Side cartoon... That could be a daunting as picking a favorite Ryoko-chan pic.
