yeah, very bold. If she had been smart enough to go to another CNB branch where our account manager isn't working, she probably would have gotten away with it.

...until the audit comes, and then it's :beatyou: for her. Now if it were fractions of a penny, done over a long period of time.... :hehe:
Okay so I work with animals on a regular basis; mice to be exact. Well, last Friday they told us that we'd be getting some new mice in for the Master's student. That's not what I'm complaining about though. I'm complaining because they neglected to tell me that they ordered 100 freaking mice! That's not the worst part. The Master's student won't even be working with the mice personally. Gues who's job that's gonna be? :grumble: Here's the icing on the freaking sh*t cake. Not only will I be working with mice (IRC mice to be exact....the meanest little @$$holes on the face of the earth), I'll also be working with 15 rats!!!!!!! 15 white, red-eyed-psycho rats. They're huge and extremely mean. They bite, they scratch, they wiggle like crazy and they crap all over the place. If I want to sedate them I have to stick them in the rear. And how, pray tell, I'm I supposed to do that? They're gonna fight me every step of the way. Oh, and I'm also responsible for shaving them every three weeks...while they're awake...all by myself! :goddammit:
Here's the advice that I was given by my boss when I complained to him about it: It'll be good practice for graduate school. It's tough, but its good work.
How the hell does he know when he's never even worked with more than 15 mice at a time in his entire career?! I won't even have anyone there to help me. But I had two people to help me take care of 25 mice. WTF?!

That seems to be a consistent style from incompetent management: it happens here, too, then we go into a mad panic to try to finish things. And it's usually half-assed.
Ain't that the truth. Then when something doesn't work out the way that they want it to they'll always ask me something dumb like "Well what happened?" Or "How did this happen?"

Right on.
That's right out of the Management 101 Playbook, Chapter Six: "Shrugging and Finger Pointing."
this is why i left that stupid land rover dealership. absolutely useless management! :usuck:
i actually think word of mouth is getting around because my old workmates tell me, for the 1st of september(the date when new registrations come out in the uk) no car is sold! :hehe:
i'm glad i'm gone :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:
I thought my new job was the shit. It still is however my monthly medical insurance is kicking my butt. Basically, I'm taking home (net pay) the same salary as when I had the 3 jobs. The medical is knocking out 1/3 of my paycheck. Shit. The overtime covers it, but overtime is never a sure thing.
Looking for other jobs now. If I get a better offer, I'm going to consult with my manager to see if she'll match the offer because I really like the company however the medical is a bitch and is kicking my butt at the moment.
