Not a cartoon, but one of my favorite lines from comic Elaine Boosler;

"I was getting off the freeway once and saw a guy standing off on the shoulder of the road carrying a sign that read; Will Work For Food!"

She waited a beat, turned to the audience and asked; "Who doesn't?"

Heading home.

Had my fill of incompetence for today.

I think I'm gonna talk to the boss tomorrow and tell her that I'm really pissed about always getting unfinished projects dumped in my lap because those who were originally responsible were lazy and incompetent morons... :grumble:

If your boss is as bad as you told me, I don't think that'll get you any results.
You're the one who puts out and everyone knows that. Or else you wouldn't have that crap dumped on you.

Same as I. The other day, 2 people called in sick and I got stuck doing their jobs. -Now my job is escrow and it's VERY time sensitive. On top of my own duties, I had to assume those 2's duties and clean up whatever poop they left behind.
I'm glad I lived through that day (past Tuesday). It was hectic, however it wasn't as bad as I thought. Only thing I was disappointed about was that I thought I was going to get more support than I did. (Which was actually NO support)
The way it is, I guess. :bleh:

You're probably right. Particularly since the VP is the boss's son. :grumble:

My thoughts exactly.

But I'm gonna speak my mind, 'cause this is total bullshit and I'm sick of it.... I'm not here to wet nurse this fool who probably can't take a leak without outside assistance. :grumble:

True, but that doesn't mean you have to accept it.

Talked to the boss about my concerns/frustrations... She basically made excuses for her son, the VP (he's overloaded, yada, yada, yada)... I told her that if us peons had done a similar half-assed job on any project we woulda got reprimanded or fired...

She agreed that the planning and scheduling left much to be desired, but that didn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen again. :grumble:

Doubt if it really accomplished much, but at least I got to voice my opinions and got it off my chest.

Whew.

Well, as long as getting it off of your chest makes you feel content, then it's all good.

At least you didn't have any higher expectations. Not like you could with that kind of boss, anyway.

Yup.

Especially when I was sorta bagging on her son for being a boob.

Well I can't talk too much crap here.. this job at CN&CS Computers.. had some kind of mistcommunication so, my cousin told me to call them back as they should be looking for someone in OCT for Part Time work.

I mean lol he can't be wrong lol he works for Star Media, and used to work for Fox Broadcasting..

So I will try again, it would be kick ass if I can get it as I can just handle Part Time right now.

Found the website as well

http://www.cncs-us.com/

From my understanding I work for PT then after 90 days they check again and if I'm good enough them i'm moved to Full Time.

Hahaha, That being the case, she definately won't do anything about it.

Well, I was a little more tactful than using the word boob, but I'm sure she caught my drift...
