Yeah, it looked very good... Actually, they cooked the Kobe beef like fajitas... Damn, my mouth is watering.

They made the salsa in a weird way, though: they used vinegar instead of lime/lemon juice, and added oil... :headscratch:

I've never had Kobe beef before. I think the cost has something to do with it.

And the salsa sounds more like a vinagrette on a salad, but what do I know?

Good point. Didn't think about that.

Real salsa (the number one condiment in the USA  ), please.

Watching the Dotch cooking show now (my fav show rivaling the new tear jerker "Crying out Love from center of the world").

Why do they always have a really old man who puts his life in danger to harvest some ingredient for the show? Like seaweed, fishes etc.

I'd go for the katsudon even when I'm allergic to pork!

I woulda picked the Tendon... More variety.

;)

I voted for katsudon (I'd have to take antihistamine right before, so I don't break out into hives from the pork).

Can't beat those orange colored tamago (egg) yolks!

It's probably just me, but when I saw tendon, I wasn't thinking of tempura donburi at first.

I don't know what jackfish is.... so I would've chosen the salmon also. At least I would get to eat. :D

Neither did I. I wasn't too impressed when they split the jackfish in half then hung the thing to dry for a while before cooking it. Should I guess that it's immune to bacterial growth? :bleh:

Never developed a taste for uni, so I had to go with the beef...

Beef shoulda won, but that older guy with the goatee changed sides after staying with the beef for the first two rounds... What a goon. ;)
