I wasn't too impressed with either one, but it was worth it to see SMAPPY lose! :dancing:

I didn't get why they would eat the stuff with those awkward metal spatulas: they might as well have used shovels. :headscratch:

well, a pair of chop sticks wouldn't work very well would it? :hehe:

I've eaten okonomiyaki with chopsticks before. It's a bit difficult, so I would have taken the metal spatulas. They didn't make the judges have to cook the stuff first, right?

I don't know if they would use forks on Japanese food. In other cuisine, maybe. :headscratch:

that'd be like eating french fries with a satay stick. :nut:

This week we have Sekiguchi's Clam Chowder vs. Miyake's Ministrone. As cold as it's been, I could use some clam chowder right now. :fingerscrossed:

Which brings up the question: Why do they call that show "San pun Cooking"? The show is more that 3 minutes long, and I've never seen them make anything in 3 minutes?

As tabana mentioned on another thread regarding Relativity, time isn't constant, so if they're moving really really slow, that three minutes turns into 10-15 minutes, depending on what they're cooking. ;) :hehe:
