but...i wish i understand what they are saying

are there any subtitled version of this?

They're subtitled here in Los Angeles...

I suppose I could post 'em on D-Addicts or something, but not with my dialup connection. :beaten:

If the Mitsuwa CM on channel 18 is to be believed, this week it will be those two great Japanese delicacies, Hot Dog vs. Cheeseburger

That's a poor Professor X imitation, K. :hehe:

Even if I had broadband, I'd be hard pressed to upload 500+MB files to the 'net... Not my idea of fun.

Hey, if you're interested in Dotch, we can trade blanks for recordings. :)

Rachel Grey would be my best bet :hehe:

Well, that's the cool thing about broadband, you can usually do other things on the internet while uploading and downloading.

I'll think about the blank dvds, I have to get more

Cheezubaga won, which was pretty much to be expected. I wonder if this a new format for the show, or just a one time thing.
6 Aug 2006, 12:03 #1430
Seems like it's the nnew format.. since the name was changed too, and in the beginning they said something like ' since we started it's 6 wins for me and only one for you'.

Man, if I was on that episode, I walk out on it: both items were bogus.

The so-called "hot dog" was more like a sausage/kielbasa and the other was a chorizo???

Awful. Hot dogs are all beef, and YOU DON'T PUT KETCHUP ON A HOT DOG. EVER.

Just as bad were the burgers: you don't mix the beef to a consistency of wonton/gyoza filling.... It should be ground and have a somewhat coarse texture...

And what's with all the bullshit that put on it: fried tomatoes?? Arugula?? tomato sauce??? And that cheese was like mozarella...

WRONG, ALL WRONG. :bleh:

What a disgusting perversion of two wholly American dishes... I may never watch the show ever again. :shakehead:

Don't forget the curry on the hot dog :bleh:

Oh yeah....

Was that supposed to be a substitute for chili???

Sacrilege. :grumble:

For shame. :shakehead:

Brave of you to admit it, but for shame.

Well, it's mainly because I can't physically eat real hotdogs, especially when they have things like chilli on them. Pity me, please....

Personal preference...I try to stay away from red meat. although, if I looked face to cooked flesh of a kobe burger, I wouldn't turn it down.

you may not think so, but yellow curry has all the spices that you'd normally season with... i use a little bit of it in my dry rub.
