Oh, her.
Eh.
I thought she was wearing some formal suit or something formal, not jeans. My memory is fuzzy though.
Anyway, she looks cute and nice to me(The woman who lost).

Uh, is that "woman" who's a celebrity judge actually a woman?
She's got some bigass arms...
shin2 wrote:Sorry about replying to a months-ago post, but I saw this episode just the other night. Beemer, yes, she is a woman--her name is Kyoko Hamaguchi, and she is one of the most celebrated female athletes in Japan. A freestyle wrestler in a relatively nascent women's sport, she is a 5-time world champion in her weight class (72kg) and is so respected she was chosen to carry the Japanese flag in the opening ceremonies at the Athens Olympic Games. At those games, she took a bronze medal, losing a controversal bout in the semi-finals. The match so upset her dad who coaches her (a former professional wrestler named Animal Hamaguchi--he appeared with her on that Dotch episode) that he had to be physically restrained by security (no small feat if you remember how big and strong he looked). Japan is apparently an international power in women's freestyle wrestling, and Kyoko is that country's biggest name. Despite her intimidating physique, I gather she is a role model for Japanese women, being hardworking, modest, and successful. I think there's also a sympathy factor too, with having a father who publicly boasted about making his daughter cry a lot during training sessions.

There was a scene just before the last voting with the red announcer guy, it looked like he was crying(?) because the women said his comments about the dish he sided on made the dish reflected negatively.
Also, at the end, they made a comment about how his face looked <something>(The red announcer guy) but I missed it and only read "face" part. Does anyone know what they said his face looked like?
