it's kinda like really rich beef, and it's pretty good. to tell you the truth, i've only had whale sashimi (in all places) in iceland. I'd tell you about it some other times over some kirin, 'cause i don't wanna get off topic too much.

BTW, i've never been there, but hokkaido is famous for it's yukimatsuri. also famous is the ainu, the ORIGINAL people of japan, much like the Native American's here in the US.

It was during the rainy season, but it only rained twice. It ended up being hot. I used a Sony cybershot Digital camera for my pics.

Have you guys visit the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku? You can get a good view of the city for free. On a clear day you are supposed to be able to see Mt. Fuji. When I went it wasn't clear enough, but it was still nice. The 45th floor is a big open area with big windows all around, and a small food stand in the middle. It would be plenty of room for a tripod.
Here is the building:

Cool, I went to the building, but I didn't know you could go up.

It depends, really... I work Bodyguard duties for Gackt... and celebs don't always have them around.

My wifey Yu will have them when she works a TV show, but... if she's just out on her own... she'll be by herself or her friends... and she'll avoid places where too many people will recognize her.

The only time celebs will have body guards with them during their private time, is when they're touring...

Like, Gackt recently went to Taiwan for private reasons... so, he was alone... and I guess some photographer found him... so, he got pissed that she started snapping pictures of him while hailing a cab... At least he had a sense of humor about it... (and amazingly, he said that all in English).

Hahah Yu has so many Boyfriends :hehe:

I would be nice, as being my first time seeing her in person, but I hear home for her is Osaka.

yeah it would be nice to see and meet any j-idol, i'd say unless you have some connections, the chances are slim on meeting them. I would checking out the popjapantravel website, one of the tours got to meet Nami Tami, they are sure lucky. :bonk:

That pic reminds me of Central Park in NYC.

Later on my trip I went to meiji shrine, which is in te middle of that park. It was crazy because you couldn't tell that you were in the middle of the city. All I saw were trees, and I couldn't hear any cars. It was a very peacful and quiet break, from the rest of Tokyo. I have never been to Central Park.

I wonder if she lives there now...
Oh wells, you gotta love Okinawan girls... they seem to make up a large proportion of Japanese celebs.
