Glad to know you apreciate the Brazilian soccer team. Yep, US beat Brazil in women's soccer, but actually it wasn't a surprise for us, since we don't have here in Brazil a women's soccer professional league like we have for men's soccer. That's OK !!!!

Yep, Ricardo and Emanuel won the gold medal in Men's Beach volley. :woot:

Wow what complete dominance. I raced home after physics to watch daving and although dmw announced the results earlier, the event was dominated by guo jingjing. She took a commanding lead after the 2nd round and never looked back and got a few 10s on some dives. Sync teammate wu minxia also did well and took 2nd! Amazing! And both girls are cute too!

Yup. Much love for the Brazilian soccer teams. :D Yeah, that's true too about the women not having a professional team. I'd be in shock (enough to commit jisatsu) if the US men's team ever beat Brazil's men team. :beaten: That cannot and will not happen. :beaten:

TANG wrote:hey dont hate, u.s is the best.

Not when it comes to men's soccer.

THIS gets the big indeed of the day. Really professional, looks really aesthetic (a bird's eye view of both Chinese dives -- well, Guo's mostly -- show them perfectly lined up between both sides of the diving board); they must be stoked merely knowing they'll perform to a hometown crowd in 2008 -- I bet China could sell out tickets real quick like if they sold 'em right now for this diving event.

Nice to know both gals got deserved money for their government and, most probably, endorsements. Well-deserved.

And, to reiterate, yes, THEY ARE BEAUT'S!

Men's b-ball game in some hours . . . hold fast, gentlemen, the whole world is watching.

excuse me but the refs make crappy calls all the time!!!
and in the first game against puerto rico i saw them lose due only , to very very crappy calls . but they didnt give up! so the refs crappy calls arent a good enough excuse.
and the best basket ball players either come from, or play in the u.s and those guys are great !so stop the hate
and as for soccer..............................................well they are ok, they cant win everything, but they can still do better than everyone else in almost everything.
U.S.A, hahahaha yeah we are the best and dont 4 get it. :usuck: :applaud: :finger_bleah:

Sorry, but the Nightmare Team got bitch-slapped twice 'cause they couldn't hit a shot beyond 15 feet.... Bad calls don't mean jack when you lose by 22 points (Puerto Rico) or get schooled on 3-point shots (Lithuania)... How about giving some props to the teams that beat the U.S., rather than pissing about the refs?
