im not pissing about anything!. just pointing out that refs often make bad calls and that isnt an excuse for losing like that.
bmw racer i was addressing posts made about bad ref calls and that being the grounds for u.s victories, (fer your info).
anyway i didnt say anything bad about the teams that beat the u.s .
im only concerned with the u.s
actually the only teams i hate are the russian teams.
Shucks, pcmodem . . . I dunno where you could find pics specifically of them . . . maybe on the Chinese Olympic website or something. Check your local papers too, or something, other sports websites. I mean, both Chinese women DID win gold and silver, so, pics of them should be a-plenty.
Whoops. Looks like Men's b-ball TeamUSA is about to lose to Argentina (I'm putting this in big letters so's you gets the info' on JDorama from a true AMERICAN first :hehe: ) . . . oh, well, still USA is ahead in medals, MUHAAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAH! Tang is right -- collectively, USA is too good and don't forget it!
It's final: Men's b-ball TeamUSA lose to Argentina; latter wins 89-81 (I'm putting this in big letters so's you gets the info' on JDorama from a true AMERICAN first, oh, did I say that already? :hehe: )
And right on, Tang, and the rest of ya'll's with the same sentiment:
TANG wrote:U.S.A, hahahaha yeah we are the best and dont 4 get it.
bmwracer wrote:Correction: The Nightmare Team didn't lose. They got BEAT by Argentina, 89-81...
Hmph. The Man considers "lose" a worse word than "beat" (you can say "loser" but "beater" makes no sense . . . unless you're dealing w/eggs :hehe: ). But, who needs NBA talent when TeamUSA's leading in medals anyway.
Anyway, it's AMERICAN DAY in Greece, apparently. Men's b-ball TeamUSA loses and protesters (are these the same folk that raspberrie'd the men runners during last night's 200 m? The race where USA!USA!USA! SWEPT the medals) because Sec' of State Colin Powell's supposed to arrive there? Because I don't wanna hear no "the Americans politicized this year's Olympics" if this is the case. Powell's got a right to be there as any other American.

In kind, the people in Greece have a right to protest his being there.... Works both ways in a democracy, y'know...
Surely, surely. I'm not implying (I certainly didn't state) that they should be denied, but, look at all that time wasted when they coulda' taken in the country's gyros or Yanni CDs, prrffft :hehe: .
Sigh. Three or two more days and the dominance is in the books: USA!USA!USA!.
USA basketball is on TV right now! At least here in the bay area it is. I watched a few minutes of the game vs argentina and that's the first time I've ever seen US basketball play and let me tell you, this is the most sorry excuse for a USA basketball team that I've ever seen. Duncan was out of the game and US had NO inside presence whatsoever. Isn't this supposed to be the dream team? Let's just hope it's a dream...
I honestly don't consider anyone on this team a "great" player aside from Duncan. I know a lot has been made of Duncan and AI but would you really want Iverson playing PG? On top of that, the starting SF is ODOM! LAMAR ODOM?!?! Are you serious?!?! That right there spells trouble. He's like the most overrated player in the game. Ok fine maybe not "most" but one of them. Next you got the former Phoenix Suns and we all know how good that is -_-. My friend was saying that USA might have a better chance with the Pistons as the dream team and I concur with that.
Anyways sorry to bash on the USA dream team, but I'm just extremely disappointed with the lack of talent that isn't on this team. I know a lot of players turned them down and I can't really blame them since an NBA championship is worth much more than a gold medal but I really gotta feel sorry for Larry Brown and what he has to work with. So many young kids who aren't even solid stars in the NBA  If in fact US does take gold, consider it a steal.

With Rulon Gardner and that US Weightlifter (forgot his name) going to town with those gyros, I don't think there are any left in the country... :hehe:

Haha. Yeah, that's pretty good. Man, real "end of movie" type ending to his own career with Gardner leaving his shoes in the ring. Friggin' dramatic.
Folks DON'T SPOIL IT FOR THE ELTINATOR! Let him watch.
Wait, no "oops." I should just say that I will be following the exploits of Guo Jing Jing through the next 'lympics in China. She is cute.
Hahaha it's cool. I watched about 6min of the quarter and then went upstairs. I was watching since I was eatting lunch. I prefer Olympic diving over basketball anyways :hehe: :hehe:
