It's Juri.... Like the word "Jury."

There's no "L" in Japanese language.....

It's a bit of both actually. As beem said, there's no "L" sound in the Japanese language, but some words get pronounced as though they do. But in some English words with an "L" in them, the "L" gets pronounced like an "R"

I'm pretty sure I'm correct on this point. However do bear in mind that the way the Japanese pronounces are not entirely the same as western people. When they pronounces 'L' sounds there is a touch of 'R'; the romaji character 'fu' (as in Fuufudou) is pronounced somewhere between 'fool' and 'who'. And then there is the issue of dialects...

Apparently us Westerners hear the words differently than you guys in the East... :sweat:

I've never heard her name spoken, but I thought that "Juri" would be right.
