Thank you for your kinds words. However all good things come to an end - I've only got a few more caps before the final episode is done. I'll post caps from the promotion special and then this drama will be done.

looks like your girl is the main one of the kids anyways
not sure how big Erika's role was, and the so very cute Kaho....she is so cute. :hehe:

Indeed she is. Ms. Ueno had her 17th birthday while they where shooting "Engine". It was on Japanese entertainment news that Kimura and Koyuki went to a department store to buy some lacey under-garment as her birthday present.

Toda Erika also had an episode dedicated to her, but she had much less interaction with the other kids.

Kaho's character, Ninomiya Yukie, is very shy and shares a room with Misae (Ms. Ueno). She basically only interacts only with Misae until the latter part of the drama.

i thought at first when i saw the title of this j-drama, that it had only to do with mainly racing cars, "engine" and not with children's orphanage...but it seems better this way, more interesting and about the characters more, i have yet to see it, and thanks to your scrn caps, it got me more interested, i had this one since last year. thanks. :applaud:

I think the name "Engine" refers to Kimura's drive (no pun intended) and not to actual race cars. I'm sure you'll like this drama. Enjoy! :victory:
