I know it's a little late now but "Swing Girls" is also available from Yesasia.

I ordered the Swing Girls Premium Edition, it was freaking expensive but well worth it. LOL I don't even feel like opening it to ruin the plastic etc... It's totally brand new....

Gonna save up some money to order other drama dvd box sets.

Btw THTL, anything new from Ms. Ueno? Oh yeah, the photobook you bought, what's it called again? Where you order it from? Wonder how many photobooks does she have..

She got another 'New-Comer' award alongside Tamaki Hiroshi, Aoi Yu, Ayase Haruka, and a couple others.

The photobook I bought was called 'A Piacere'. This is Ms. Ueno's second photo book. The first one was released in 1994 titled 'Juri First'. These two photo books were dedicated to her, but she did participate in three other books:

- A girl like you
- Nakigao
- Beauty Megane

I did my shopping almost exclusively at Amazon (JP).

Well, at least you know Japanese... How do you order since they don't ship internationally.

Amazon.co.jp does ship internationally: I've bought a number of calendars, books, videos, etc. from them and they've shipped it to me...

For a price.

Actually you are wrong on both accounts. I don't know Japanese but since I can read Chinese, I can figure out what the kanji means. Amazon does ship internationally when the goods are from their warehouse. It is when they act as agent to other suppliers than shipping is limited to within Japan.

just got the SMAPxSMAP that has Ueno Juri in it...

kudos to thtl and others for a great, interesting and eye-opening thread! found a lot of news and pics i never saw before.

i noticed there aren't any screencaps on Î‚¤‘å“VŽg(ƒ~ƒJƒGƒ‹) (Warau Mikaeru) yet so i did some. they're not organized or anything, but ooh they're pretty. :woot: :woot:
