it's not a drama, it's one of juri's movies that came out last year. it's just that i saw people posting like this in the former pages of this thread, and i just supposed... :say_oops:

it's called Î‚¤‘å“VŽg(ƒ~ƒJƒGƒ‹) (Warau Mikaeru) and was released summer 06. based on a manga and really weird, but lots of beautiful buildings.

Thanks to noblsheep for posting the caps and plot of "Warau Michael", and to dk75 for the links on "Joudan Jya Nai". I still have two minds about this drama - I love to see Oda and Ms. Ueno in a light-hearted romance (a la "Last Christmas") but would love to see Ms. Ueno getting 'serious'. :puppydog:

a few days back, there was a 2 hour program on NHK called 辉‚­—. it followed/took juri to england for a week. they visited london, bath, bristol, and stayed with a family in cornwall (i think). i took a bunch of screencaps.

hmm. no, i think she said something like "i study many many english then come back" to the kids at one point. there was a translator with her.
