Ehh, why worry about it?

No one can liked by everyone... I don't think Juri-chan worries about, so you shouldn't either...

We like/adore/love her... For those who don't, it's their problem, not ours. :victory:

Yeah. :D

Not quite sure how to put it, but here goes...

If you consider her a role model then I could understand why you would take it seriously. Even if she isn't a role model, as a fan you have a vested interest, possibly on some emotional scale where Juri-chan provides you with a bit of happiness, joy, even sadness as you see her in the roles that she plays. Perhaps even just the joy of seeing her act, as you may find her acting to be great. Basically you like what you see, and you certainly hope that what you see is what you get, or else you would be disappointed. I guess it comes down to how much of an interest you put in. As a fanboy, I enjoy seeing her on screen or hearing her sing Onara Taisou (hey, hey, booooo!!), and I would be disappointed if what I've seen was merely a charade. I just have to understand that there is no personal connection and whatever faults that may arise really has no effect on my life.

A bunch of rambling to simply say, it's ok to take it serious, but not too serious. :victory:

WAH! I completely agree. I guess I'll just happily like her and not be too serious about this things.

Good news for me! My classmate told me we have no school today! :woot: LUCKY! Going to watch Rainbow Song then. *watch mode*

I agree, the battle to win Juri-chan's heart and heart-melting smile is clearly 'racer's for the taking.

Haha! I didn't even think of competing with beem-ojiisan! :hehe:

Here's a curious tidbit from previous discussions at J-D: Wynter-chan thinks Juri-chan's fake (not in so many words), but adores Yonekura Ryoko... To the contrary, cori-chan doesn't think much of Ryoko-chan, but thinks highly of Juri-chan...

Wacky. :headscratch:

Hehe.. well, we all have our favorites, don't we? Sometimes it's really hard to qualify what or why unless you're in the business of doing it all the time.

I think, for me, reviewing is a passion. I get to interface emotional reaction and discussion. It's usually always only an attempt - which I often get wrong, but it's endlessly fun to keep trying.

Ahh.. the magic of balance: perhaps you ask too much ;-)

(In truth, I agree completely)

Wouldn't she have the problem that she could melt her own heart in this case? Sounds kinda self-destructive to me :dancing:

Really? I've never thought that. If anything Juri-chan reminds me of Kim Ha Neul. Not that they look alike, but I think they have similar personalities.

Eh?? Who are they? Korean actors? (Sorry for the ignorance)

Here's a curious tidbit from previous discussions at J-D: Wynter-chan thinks Juri-chan's fake (not in so many words), but adores Yonekura Ryoko

I don't think thats true.. But if it is, then she's doing a really remarkable job!

Kim Ha Neul is a Korean actress...

...who I happen to think is similar to Juri-chan, and it's not because of the clothes :victory:

It's like I posted before, in terms of looks they don't look alike at all, but I just find them to be alike in terms of personalities. :victory:

Haha, well I guess I'll have to qualify her heart-melting abilities as having an effect on every fanboy and girl out there, but not on Juri-chan herself :victory:

I see.. As you said they don't look alike (unless you count the dress that they are wearing :) )

Never seen any Korean drama/movie before (though couple of Korean friends had suggested some).

Yup.

The only similarities are the clothing and hairdos... You can't dress up a Hyundai a make it a Porsche. ;)

Same here... No interest in Korean dramas at all.

I'm not sure whether the hairdos are similar even.. But then..

I guess the Kdrama(?) industry might be huge as well.. But let me not go off topic here!
