Heheh, I draw and express myself as a hobbie and not as a dedicated artist as you know I'm a medical student so it has nothing to do with that heheh.
As defined:
"Art is a (product of) human activity, made with the intention of stimulating the human senses as well as the human mind and/or spirit; thus art is an action, an object, or a collection of actions and objects created with the intention of transmitting emotions and/or ideas. Beyond this description, there is no general agreed-upon definition of art, since defining the boundaries of "art" is subjective, but the impetus for art is often called human creativity."
Is a never ending discussion with goes on to the philosophical realm which leads to no absolute and clear answer.
As for which of my works I think is art, that is left to the viewer to decide which they consider. If they feel anything while looking at my work, be it happiness, sadness, grief, or just admiration. By definition then is art and I'm good with that. If they don't feel anything, bah, who am I to tell them is art lol
Note: I can't deal with PM's unlike mods/admins who have more space, mines gets full quickly and this conversation would be so long that it will definitely require me to delete other messages hehehe. So AIM, come on... you know you want to :hehe:
