OT...I have the DVD boxset..the last episode almost ruined me...Saga & Sugar parting...

I envy you for having the boxset. I have to agree, seeing Saga and Sugar part almost ruined me as well. To think that such a cute and lovely anime could end on such terms. The trio of Sugar, Salt and Pepper were awesome :victory:

It's cool that the anime was animated by J.C. Staff, the same studio that did Honey and Clover, and of course, Nodame Cantabile (trying to get back on track somehow...). We'll have to continue this in the anime section :victory:

Alrighty, runpup I've taken Sugar to the anime discussion thread :victory:

Seeding update: I'm the only seeder for Ep.6 and, wait, it's that the stop button? I'm kidding. I see 'racer at 97.3% so I expect it'll be done in just a bit.

Nine minutes to go.

I'm seeing movement in episode 6, but not so much for episode 7. Apologies if it's taking longer on my part to download, as it's just... argh.

As for getting back to Nodame... you brought up Tamaki's jowls, and it did seem like his appearance changed from the series to the SP because of that. I did find it a prominent feature for him... and the frequent closeups tended to exaggerate that feature.

As for the eating part, well, he did keep answering 'fried rice' in that game show. All that eating must keep his jaw in tiptop shape.

I've got 7-9 running and they're moving along steadily, if not very fast... Patience is warranted. :)

LOL. :hehe:

His jaw must have the strength of a vise. :hehe:

I'm back from a lousy morning of work, and I started seeding Episode 7. It looks like 'racer is almost done, but I can continue seeding for FarOutFreak. 'Racer it looks like you're in good shape for Episode 8 as well, so I'll stick with Ep. 7 and jump to Ep.9 later on.

Nice screencaps, deseipher. :victory:

I watched episode 9. I really enjoyed it, too. For me, eps 7 and 8 were a bit lacking, but ep 9 has brought the quality back up, imo. :dancing:

Thanks! :victory:

Glad to hear you're enjoying the show, and with two more episodes to go I think you'll find the rest to be just as enjoyable.

I'm at my brother's house, so I'm not sure about the progress....

I do have the last five episodes running simultaneously... :beaten:

It shows you at 93% for Episode 8 :victory: Running the last five is probably a good idea, at least get some kind of start :woot: No one is connected to me for Episode 7, so I may just jump to Ep. 9 in a bit.

But there is good news. Watching Nodame more than once has been clinically proven to increase head growth in headless mice by 40%.

Those mice probably lost their heads watching Nodame in her cat costume in the first place.

Nodame in a cat costume? Blasphemer! Nodame is a mongoose-only kinda girl. She'd never stoop so low as to dressing up like a cat.

That's not Nodame!! It's some cheap Nodame look-a-like.

There's something strangely alluring about her wearing those cat ears... :bonk:

Cat > Mongoose, but only because I can actually see Juri-chan's pretty face  Mongoose costume is cute, but I can't see Juri-chan!
