Btw.. it's really weird to see Phil Ken Sebben as an avatar and see the word cute anywhere in the body.. I just noticed that. For some reason, good ole Phil doesn't seem the "cute" type.

And I take it you're Harvey Birdman :beaten:

Actually.. many say that I could totally have voiced Harvey Birdman.. Gary Cole and I have very similar timbre. But I could probably also do Phil Ken Sebben.

Hurray! Another Nodame fan. Take that, Ruka! (j/k)

And you did see the SP (trip to Europe), right?

Keep tooting that horn, dude... Nodame is so perfect.... On so many levels.

Jawohl!(In the same voice as Elise's German goon)

Speaking of perfect, I have to go back to the hypnosis scene. That has to be one of the most well-made scene ever. Not only was the music tempo right, but the cinematography, pacing, and acting were spot on. For a "slapstick" series, that was some serious grade-A drama, and it fit perfectly with the way the series was developing.

Right on. :victory:

Speaking of slapstick, I love the "Super Hitoshi-kun" scene where she's trying to buy the unagi... To the tune of Khachaturian's Sabre Dance... Terrific. :applaud:

That was the only scene were Nodame actually had signs of being beat up afterwards. Poor girl. Had I been there, I would have plowed a path open for her while shouting "All aboard the pain train. WOOOOO WOOOOO!

I'm not a film student or the like, but I love seeing well made scenes like the hypnosis one. In relation to the entire series, I'd dare say it ranks right up there with the best drama scenes of any country.

That's what she tried to do...

With all these actors and actresses working together, it'd be cool to see an end-all-be-all drama or movie with every talent involved, or have some crossover drama going. It's hard sometimes to disconnect one drama from another when familiar faces are involved. It makes me try to come up with a storyline that connects the two together. I suppose my brain is just wired a little too differently from most people

They've done that lotsa times in the comics... Rather frustrating at times: I'm buying these Iron Man comics, then the story continues in The Avengers or The Fantastic Four...
