AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Then she bounced back and Chiaki started choking here. And the "snobby" look she gave him before was priceless.

Nodame is an awesome drama.. I don't have the habit of re-watching any dramas but this one is an exception. Love watching some of the funny scenes (this series seems to have zillions of them) when I need to lift my spirits up :hehe:

Agree that the drama is done extremely well (though was not sure about the whole 'hitting' thing when I watched the first episode) :applaud:

She's like one of those blow up dolls with the sand in the bottom... a schmoo? You knock her down and she pops right back up, no worse for wear (in fact in the SP, Chiaki's attack from behind merited an impressive flying kick)

Let's face it, like Mine's dad, Nodame's a beast.

Isn't it just called a kid's punching bag? :)

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record.....

So I'm finished with episode 8. The series has a very gentle, delicate touch in the way it reveals the plot. You almost don't even notice as Chiaki goes from being digusted by Nodame, becoming irritated by her constant loitering and dependance, then becoming the "faux marriage" where her eating dinner at his place had become the norm. And boy were you ever write about the music sounding perfect. In the hypnosis scene, they even used the perfect version of Barber's Adagio, with a tempo that matched the needed mood of the scene so perfectly.

She looks familiar to me, and I wanted to see if my guess was right. :)

I think that's the only hardsubbed version so far, so if you want a hardsub version, you've got the right one. :victory:

Just in case anyone else may be interested, here are the torrent links for the hardsub version:

Thanks Beem and deseipher! :dancing:

@ deseipher - yes, I do want a hardsubbed version. My boyfriend and I have not been able to combine soft subs and film on one dvd (I much prefer discs to watching on a computer), so a hardsubbed version that can be put on to a disc is perfect for me. :D

Sorry I can't seed those episodes, since I never downloaded the hardsubbed version....

I'm sure deseipher will seed if need be. :victory:

Keps, I can help seed if need be though it looks like there won't be any problems downloading with plenty of seeds. However, if you are interested, there is a hardsubbed version that has been put into DVD format which can be found here:

http://www.mininova.org/tor/1187870

I should note that the subtitles can't be turned off and are based on Siantut's subs. Also the text color is green, for those who are color-conscious of their subtitles.

Lastly if you do want the raws, I do have the 1024x576 (x264 encoding) and 1280x720 (Divx) versions to be seeded. Can't ever have the adorable and talented Ueno Juri in enough resolutions. :victory:

Btw.. it's really weird to see Phil Ken Sebben as an avatar and see the word cute anywhere in the body.. I just noticed that. For some reason, good ole Phil doesn't seem the "cute" type.
