GTO [麻辣教師] It is one unbelievable show! Full-paced all the way.
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Without a doubt, my favourite show, shockingly i liked it more than GTO :|..
Ichi Ritoru no Namida [１リットルの涙] Moved straight to the top of my favourites list! This is one of the most moving doramas I've ever seen. It makes you want to cherish life, and live to the fullest. A must watch! Beautiful in it's own way.
Ikebukuro West Gate Park [池袋ウエストゲートパーク] It's a massive change from the cliche high school/comedy/romance J-doramas. Obviously they never get you bored, but this is brilliant! Nagase Tomoya is great, but my favourite award must go to Kubozuka Yosuke, he's truly brilliant. It even has Ken Watanabe! And he puts on a great performance. All in all, a show worth watching, one of the most under-rated doramas on here!
My Boss, My Hero [マイボスマイヒロ] One of my first J-doramas, when I first started watching. It truly showed me why I should stay with watching these over the Western shows. It has everything! Emotion/Comedy/action. You name it! Cheesy, yet hilarious! I've seen it thrice and I wouldn't mind watching it again :).
Proposal Daisakusen [プロポーズ大作戦] Great dorama, Nagasawa Masami looks Kawaii through out! Yamapi as always, puts on a great performance. One of the better shows of the past couple of years. I especially liked Hamada Gaku although at times, he was a little corny etc. But he's talented, and hope to see him in more shows. A vote it surely deserves.

Nagasawa Masami [長沢まさみ] A great actress. Was amazing in Proposal Daisakusen and Dragon Zakura.
Sawajiri Erika [沢尻エリカ] She was simply brilliant in 1 litre of tears. I don't really base a persons acting on just one show! But for her it was a special case. She is surely one of the Japanese drama industries greatest assets!
