Well, I see you've got Odoru Daisousassen on your list. It's a classic from the '90s, one of the few dramas I've given a "10" to.
My brother just finished this one and says it's now one of his favourites! I want to enjoy it when I watch it (i.e. not rush it), and since I'm looking for a drama to tie over the time until I can watch Churasan again, I need something despensible. I'm thinking Stand Up.
I've moved Odoru up on my watch list tho. _________________

The last episode of Stand Up has yet to be subbed...it could be months... _________________

I'm with you A.D.. I didn't remember Tanihara Shosuke from "Seikei Bijin" either. He just didn't make much of an impression.
Then again, I doubt I've watched "Seikei" as many times as BMW.
Boy, two of my favorites mentioned on the page today. Odoru Daisousassen is firmly planted on my all time favorites list.
And Stand Up! is a very special little show.

It starts out being a happy bit of wackiness, and then shifts into a whole different gear toward the end.
I can't wait to watch it again when the fan subbing is complete. I have it in an old VCD version with gadawful EngRish subs. It'll be nice to see it when I don't have to spend half of my time wondering what they really said, as opposed to what was printed on the screen. _________________

FINALLY got to finish Engine last night, despite a very crappy encode on the DVD I did
I really enjoyed this one. It was my first KimuTaku drama, and I was a bit worried that I would be disappointed, but he was great. So was Koyuki, Ueno Juri, and all the rest, especially the kids Nice to see Takashima Reiko in there too, who I first saw in Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
