Rookie is a very interesting drama~ It's all about a young policeman who is kind of clumsy~ But he's very kind and cute too~ Koichi had done the best in the making of this drama~ But i know, KOichi will be Japan best actor somedays~ Ko chan! Gambatte ne~ I love the funny parts of this drama~ Especially when he dropped his ice cream to the ground and picked the icecream back and put it in his ice cream cone and said' let's not waste the ice cream' ...haha!!! that was so funny!!! Well to all KOichi's fan, u MUST see this great, fantastic drama... Koichi will be starting his new drama soon...^^... it's called 'Gakusei JIdai'. it means School period... I think this will be more another fantastic drama of Koichi dohmoto...We'll see...^^... Like what Kochan always says, 'I will try to do the very best i can'... ANd i know kochan will do his very best...I know...Hmm...so watch out for this coming drama...don't miss it... or u'll regret...LAst but not least, GAMBATTE KOCHAN!!!GAMBATTE NE~ I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT U IN WHATEVER U DO!!!GOODLUCK TO U! I KNOW U CAN DO IT!!! WE ALL KNOW U CAN DO IT!!! SO WORK HARD!!! | 2. | Rookie -> A very funny dorama [Rating: 8/10]
I like this dorama for the funny side, it was really made me laugh except for the last few episodes where the story became a little bit serious. Koichi Dohmoto really had the comical face that could make me laugh. Kakei Toshio also his best partner (in this dorama) on making people laugh. I realized that it made me really laugh when he was with Kakei Toshio then when he was part with Kuroki Hitomi or when he moved alove. It's one of the ligth dorama to enjoy easily without giving you an additional task to think. I don't really have any command on his relationship with Rina Uchiyama, i think it's better to leave it that way. Oh, the last part where Tsuyoshi Dohmoto appeared is a good ending i guess ^_^ |

Rookie lacks spice and creativity to make it a good drama. It has some good actors like Domoto Koichi, Uchiyama Rina, and Kuroki Hitomi. All of them were good in their roles, especially Kuroki. However, the plot is just bland, boring, and episodic. Sure most cop shows are episodic by nature, but the good cop dramas like Remote for example, manage to have good stories for every case. This drama had nothing interesting in the storyline, and the only time I felt it was good were the last 3 episodes. The first 9 were pretty boring. This drama was a big disappointment, especially because I had high hopes with Uchiyama Rina in it and Domoto Koichi who was great in another cop sow, Remote. |

funny and hilarious
you are able to see the developement of the rookie as he solve the many cases and the goodness of his heart and the way he understands people .
Totally recommend this to all the kinki kids fans and ppl who love a good laugh .
