honestly, the actors saved this show.
the plot and storyline is just cliche, and the whole production is not THAT great in general. the cast is, however, incredibly strong, and makes this rather enjoyable to watch.

my favourite dorama. unpredictable, wild, and insane. the plot is beautifully twisted, and the acting was impressive. though tsuyoshi and koichi were young, they showed good acting skills. ruka is harder to portray than makoto is, but i daresay that koichi did a pretty good job, especially considering his acting experience at that time. the chemistry between tsuyoshi and koichi is overwhelming. the rest of the cast were fabulous. filming and directing was well done, and so was the cutting. fabulous dorama, i just can't praise it enough. | Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース]

I would have given it a seven, but I'm giving it an eight due to Nakai and his ability to portray this character well. Other than Naoe and Shimura, it's a little weak on characterization. The plot and lines are pretty cliche. Nonetheless, it's nicely filmed, nicely directed. Very enjoyable dorama. its actually a very predictable plot. things are a little boring till takeshi was sent to the home, but once you reach there, things get interesting. i'm pretty irritated by okina's character izumi personally. she just.. gets in the way. at the end of the show, i have no idea whether to pity takeshi or kai. predictable as it may be, i just want to continue watching. lovely chemistry from the kinki kids once again. | Watashitachi no kyokasho [わたしたちの教科書]

plot is good, acting is good. tsuyoshi is adorable in the show. but the show doesn't grab me. its not intriguing enough. but not bad, reccomended for fans of the cast. they did well. |
