This is a very touching and funny drama, after watching it gives you a feel good and heart warming feeling. Not to mention you'll be crying your eyes out. Dohmoto Tsuyoshi did an amazing job. He is one of my fav Japanese Dorama actor, the only other Dorama that I got a chance to see him in was Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo 1 and Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo 2. After seeing this it makes me want to watch more of his dorama. But finding them in my area seems a bit difficult.

Recommended!!

Heart-warming! Great theme song too! The drama is mainly about love btw siblings, tho fighting constantly but stuck out for each other in bad times, a very "G" rated love relationship plus many funny yet touching moments made this drama overall a unique viewing experience.

The ending has a twist but Last episode was a bit weak for me. Avail for trade, eng sub, 3 dvds.

Great Drama. I especially love the ending song, Natsu no Ousama. Everyone acts terrific, this is a drama that once you start you can't put it down, and everything else around you becomes secondary until you finish it. Be warned, this drama is a tear jerker, so have that tissue paper handy.

I cant belive there are people who thought this was a boring drama! I couldenLt stop watching it, had to call in sick from work to finish it... A love story that will make you cry from sadness and happiness!.... i need a hug!

This was by far the best drama I've ever seen in my entire life. The actors, the plot, everything, especially the meaning, were perfect. It's a real tear jerker, it's a definite see for anyone of any heart. It will bring even the strongest person to tears. It's simply amazing how Japan can reach our feelings like this, especially in anime titles as well. This was the first JTV drama I ever saw and it won't be the last. I love it. The greatest gift of all really is the gift of life, that which is taken for granted by millions of people every day.

Dohmoto Tsuyoshi was great in this drama there is nothing wrong with this drama at all. It was well thought out it seems. The story is also very good and it can be very funny and also not so funny when it needs to be. We need more dramas like this the characters are cool. And it teaches us a lot of values. It is a very good drama i would recomend this drama to anyone. If you haven't seen it you need to watch it. I watched this drama in two days my first time watching it. It is one of the first that I ever watched. Please give this one a chance.

Loved this drama, till the last episode. That was a major bummer, even though I could see it coming I was praying I was wrong, but nope ended as I thought it would. :( Everything else was awesome, I just wish it had ended differently. 10 out of 11 episodes are a 10, and the last episode is good in it's own right just hated the way they took it. :(

family/teen drama for the first 8 or 9 episodes that simply anyone can enjoy and also from there the plot starts to get tight and personal... id watched the last episodes a few times and each time theres new discovery: the hints, the imagery... bittersweet ending, very beautiful~~!

Great drama! I didn't know anything about this one before I watched it so it surprised me that it turned out to be this good. I rate it as the 5-6 best drama all time.
I'd say it's both a love and family drama, very sweet and heartwarming. And sad, very sad. At least for me the ending was unexpected. Good acting, Dohmoto Tsuyoshi is funny and Hirosue Ryoko irresistably cute as usual. Some scenes were way too corny, but it never got boring.
After watching this drama I thought it was one of the best, I still do. And when I found this site, I realized that I'm not alone.

Worst drama i had ever seen! It was so draggy and slow. I managed to finish the whole thing because i thought it was going to get better. I guess it never did. I thought the acting was horrible too, especially the part when matsuo got hit by the motocycle. It is like 12 feet away from him, and he just stood there and covered the boy instead of trying to drag the boy away.

i love this show! best jdrama ever. Great characters & storyline (except really sad at the end but all is good), fantastic chamistry between the characters & funny story overall very emotional & heart warming at the same time, a must watch!

The Best I've Ever Seen. It's the second show that made me teary (I've never cried to a show before) The first was Kamisama mou sukoshi dake. But i think Summer Snow is even better. The storyline is simply perfect although i predicted the ending when i see the accident.
