My torrent has finished, just have to download it. :victory:
I'm sure you'll like...it's nice to be able to watch a good anime film without having to invest your time in a series that might be 26 episodes or more, long.
The jury of the 17th annual Philadelphia Film Festival has named Fumihiko Sori and Oxybot's computer-animated Vexille the best animation feature of this year's competition. In the story's fictional future of 2077, Vexille is a female operative of an American special forces unit that infiltrates Japan after the country has isolated itself from the rest of the world for a decade. Other animated features at the festival included Dead Fury and Film Noir. Vexille has been screened at several film festivals, such as the Independent Film Festival of Boston, Italy's Future Film Festival, and the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival, but this is the first time that is has won an award. In the United States, the film has been licensed for DVD release by FUNimation Entertainment, and the film is set to be available starting May 20.
I saw the first 20 mins of Vexille the other day, before I had to go out. Absolutely amazing animation! The storyline seemed quite good too. The only thing that bugged me (and this is true of all non-dubbed anime) was that the characters mostly don't look Japanese, but are dubbed with Japanese voice actors. I'm not an anime snob: I like it dubbed :P Hopefully it will be available dubbed in English soon. I'm still going to watch it all as is, though :)

Tokyo's Popopure Maid Café Lets Customers Dub Anime

Customers can dub 3-minute "Popo no Bōken" anime in cafe's studio
Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: Popopure, the first maid café that also doubles as an animation studio, opened last month in Tokyo's Akihabara otaku shopping district. Not only can customers order food served by waitresses in maid costumes, but they can also dub their voices into the "Popo no Bōken" (The Adventures of Popo) anime sponsored by Tokyo Hi-Vision Eizou. The café's walls have framed anime drawings and a 50-inch television with non-stop anime.
Two animators, "Tomoe" and "Saaya," have been actually producing the entire three-minute anime project — from drawing the original sketches to coloring and editing the final animation. There are three characters in the anime; if there are not enough customers to fill all the roles, the maids will step in to voice them. As a memento of the visit, the café offer customers a "Dialogue Recording Memorial DVD" of the anime with their dubbing performance.
Watching the first eps of Vampire Knight - didnLt know the manga.
ItLs uber-shoujo and I above the target viewerLs average age, but what the heck, a bit of guilty pleasure is nice, it goes down like a piece of chocolate cake.

It's really moving and fairly emotional in many scenes. The title of the movie is a metaphor about life....the animation is very colorful and really quite exceptional. A stirring tale about a boy and a girl.
Highly recommended! Very much like a dorama, to be honest. About an hour in length.
Just watched this... what a beautiful film :D Had a hard time focusing on the subs sometimes cause the animation was so amazing
