I just bought Fight Night round 3 :woot: :dancing: . It was released earlier than I expected (here in our country). I was like expecting it to be released next week  .

Well I tried Final Fight Streetwise at the gameshop today: and the reviews aren't lying about it being totally crap :beaten: It's like walking around in a B or C movie including it's streetpunks, dealers and hookers :hehe:

Ah... Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan!... What a great game... Just can't stop playing it on my NDS. The songlist on this rythm game is just pure god. Pure JROCK and JPOP licensed songs. Fun as hell but puts some major wear on tear on the touch screen. :puppydog:

-Song List for Ouendan-
??? - Melody
B'z - Atsuki Kodou no Hate
??? - Gatsu Da Ze!!
Morning Musume - Koi no Dance Site
Kokoro Odoru
Shanghai Honey
Thrill
Taisetsu na Mono
Taiyou ga Moete Iru
Nerai Uchi
Linda Linda
Loop & Loop
Southern All Stars - One Night Carnival
Hitomi Yaida - Over the Distance
READY STEADY GO

Sorry to hear about your touch screen. I didn't know it was that fragile. :pout:Thanks for the info about the game. I wasn't sure if it was good or not. There's a full song list here, but it's not 100% perfect (i.e. Morning Masume). Still the list is nice.

I've been playing Final Fantasy X-2 and Tetris DS. The best Tetris remake since the original. :D

Well.. it's nothing that a little rubbing alcohol can't clean, but it does make me consider getting those screen protectors

I put a screen protector on my NDS. Now I'm looking at the NDS Lite.

Did anyone get Kingdom Hearts 2 yet? I have it, but it's not opened yet. I want to beat Kingdom Hearts 1 over again.

I did that for my GBA and screwed up. I had a bubble in the middle of the screen. :ashamed: I'm not taking any chances with that again.

The touch screen protector went on fine. The other screen though has a moisture spot. Can be annoying at times.

I am currently playing a brain quiz game from Japan on my DS. Link

There's a ton of games to play:
- write in the correct arithmetic operator (so 3 __ 4 = 12 would appear, you would write X)
- combine the kanji radicals to form one kanji character
- write the correct kanji from the hiragana reading and the context (I can't believe how much I've forgotten  )
- remember a 5x5 grid of numbers in 2 minutes, then try to recall them in another 2 minutes
- touch the largest number on the screen

This version is the second one in the series. The first version will be coming to the US as "Brain Age".

Thanks for the info. The kanji learning could be fun. Are there different difficulty levels or do you need to know 2000+ kanji?

I think if you know 2000 characters, the game would be a good refresher. In my case, I think I knew 500-700 characters after I finished college, but have lost many of them. I can recall some, but other I have no clue.

On the game, there is a "Pass" option if you get stuck. I use it regularly on the kanji exercises. But I do get some of the answers which surprises me actually.

Ok thanks. I know just a few... probably less than a 5 year old Japanese. I'll give it a try anyway. :)

I think the math games are easy to understand.

Oh, there's also a listening game where you try to write the hiragana of what you hear. It's easy when there's only one word. It's when they combine two and three at the same time. Trying to focus on one speaker is a doozy. :nut:

Wow, that's awesome. A great tool to practice listening. I'll buy it tonight. :D

Thank you.

a good way to refresh your memory on the characters, being quized and playing games at the same time..

i probably would fail at all of them and pass, since i not familar with Kanji, still memorizing the Hiragana characters.
