lol...yeah if he got a red card by turning the card over...he might have stopped munchin' and actually played a little bit...

The Adidas Teamgeist is weird though, but that happens every tournament: the teams only get to play with the new ball just a few weeks prior the tournament, not a proper way to get used to it. and when the ball sucks, nothing can be done about it. During last Eurocup's the ball was too heavy (Roteiro) and the ball before that the Fevernova (used during Japan & S.Korea) was weird too (not heavy enough)

can never forget the dude who got Beckham's missed penalty ball and ebayed it :hehe:

they even held auctions to buy a ticket home for Beckham n James LMAO

Brazil won 1-0 against Croatia, again I'm disappointed. Croatia deserved a tie. Oftenly Brazil wins due to individual class and today it was the same, Kaka was great. Ronaldo was not, he was moving around as if he just came out the "all you can eat" buffet. :hehe:

LOL. Yeah... I felt kinda bad for the guy but he's getting old and he's gaining some weight. It was kinda funny seeing him walk around... but that has to happen sometime... poor guy!

The French looked weak. They haven't scored any goals in the past games right? Henry clearly needed help. I can't understand why they have to rely on Henry alone to get the goal :shakehead:
Too bad Cisse is injured & Pires not included is a mystery :shakehead:
Fortunately they have really good defense players. (I don't know their names tho') They were relentless keeping the goal safe from the attacking swiss. Nice footwork & clearence :applaud:

btw...
Team Korea now is not as strong as in 2002 but i'm glad they won  thank god for Ahn Jung Hwan (:smitten:)
but Togo is jinx ... they played well tho'.
Why Pires is not included in the team ? :hehe: because he had a love affair with Domenech's ( selector ) wife !!! it's true !
The French players are getting too old now, they can't run anymore !
and Korea will kick their butt ! :boot:
Spain tonite...but no Morientes :pout:

Pires had an affair with the manager's (what is selector?)
15 Jun 2006, 02:54 #467
Yes, the manager !! ( selector ) Domenech ... that's why he didn't want him in the team ...
15 Jun 2006, 02:59 #468
Yeah, unfortunately *our* team is loaded by old bones and incompetent players. I can't see France possibly win without a miracle.

lol. I guess it makes sense now. But leaving out Guily is unforgivable, wasn't he responsible for the winning goal that qualified them for the WorldCup? And he plays well for Barcelona. you guys are just unlucky with Domenech. with players like this you should at least make the quarter/semifinals IMO.

Did you guy see the equalizing goal Saudi Arabia? it must be the goal of the tournament so far for me :woot:

OMG, for me germany vs poland was an awesome match. Poland stepped up this time, not the same team that played ecuador. 90' Klose's header right off the bar, rebound Ballack hits the same damn spot. I thought it would end nil-nil but one minute later Odonkor's beautiful cross and Neuville was righte there. YATTA! *victory dance*
Germany was my team last year and pulling for them again this year too.

Damn after getting the red card: going on full defense only in the last 15mins is asking for trouble with 10 man, if they were more like Trinidad & Tobago they might have just nicked that point.

(btw the refs sucked today, just like the match Spain vs Ukraine..he didn't deserved a red card)

Whoever loses the match...must commit seppuku!

I don't watch every match ... but I will watch Japan vs Croatia on Sunday.
I hope they'll win .
Next match with the French team ... vs Korea ... that will be difficult ! Korea is a good team .
Yes, Domenech is the worse manager . Aime Jacquet was so much better ! :applaud:
