@ Tu_triky awesome video
@ LMF, we are supporting Spain, Portugal, Japan and the US too. Plus Korea and England.

So far this world cup has been great despite some boring matches. Italy and France out, fantastic. I love also the scandals around the French team :hehe: .

I am quite excited about the matches today but I will miss the Ghana/US game since I have to go to a wedding. :shamefulcry:.

Tomorrow will be epic as well, with all the Germans and Brits living in Brussels.

Perfect. And the glass is so small there is no danger of falling in.

But I believe his roots are in N. Korea, non? I believe his mother is N. Korean.

Watched the U.S. get eliminated by Ghana, 2-1, at my local sushi bar... More people were watching than eating. :beaten:

Aw man, poor midfielding by the US in the first half. It's hard to win games when conceding early goals which the US has been prone to do. They played much better in the second half but it wasn't enough. Again they conceded another early goal in the first half of extra time. Early goal concession is the bane of US int'l play.

It will be Uruguay vs. Ghana.

Suárez is just a natural scorer and he is on a roll this year.

They played better in the second half through the WC. The defense fell asleep on both goals. In the first goal, Howard was caught in a 'bad' spot. The second goal, Bocanegra just couldn't keep up.

Didn't notice that: was too busy chatting with the waitress about the Lakers. :beaten:

I was at the bar from start to finish. Between me and my two co-workers, we downed two pitchers of Sierra Nevada and I wanted to cry when the final seconds were trickling down. Sonofab*tch.

I dunno if Donovan will make it for the next world cup. We're definitely saving up for Brazil 2014.

Yeah it was a disappointing match altogether. The United States need more focus and concentration not to concede such early goals which come back to bite them in the a$$.

Germany trounces England, 4-1.

Fuggin' embarrassing. Again the refs f*cked up though and disallowed a CLEAR, CLEAR goal for England that would have tied the game and changed the complexion of the match but still...Germany was by FAR the better team.

Yeah, that's what I read in the article... Is the reffing typically a problem or just in this World Cup?

It will always be an issue to some extent but I feel like this year's tournament the blown calls have been particularly egregious...but it's not just in international play, club play in Europe during the Champions League is also at issue since those are FIFA sanctioned matches.
