hehe...

If you still want to meet with a pretty girl that likes you for your money, I suggest http://www.bb-chat.tv/ . I found it on a Japanese online store. No nakedness, but I guess it costs a few yen a minute. My kanji skills aren't good. Once your credit card is loaded, she won't even say to you sayonara. It'll be a clean break up. :hehe:

I'm sure most guys are really in love at that moment... I thought I was.

i'm happy to say that i'm not one of those girls who value stuff like jewelry in a relationship.. people think im high maintenance.. but for god sakes im not.

im such a dork that girls wouldn't want to be friends with me in shame.

god knows how much jewelry i have misplaced through the years, hence the non-interest.. but i think standard protocol of rings are like it should be worth 4 salaries of the guy or something..

go figure.

i'm never going to get married.

how bout' one of those mood rings.... :bonk:

if the girl wants a 10k ring, and demands it or else, then she can hit the high road alone, and buy it herself...

Yep. I guess the worst thing that could happen to you by meeting one of these girls is being broke, get a virus or a trojan and need to format your hard drive.

It's probably what I would do. Something expansive, but not 6 months worth of salary.

Anyone wanna buy a slightly used ring? :beaten:

that's not luv if you demand more than what your boy could make, to high maintance for me. i tend to loose more jelwery, than anything. if u luv each other, a kiss would be just perfection itself. i'm not a high maintance gurl, the only thing i want most is for the guy to be able to cook, (cause i can't cook), thats good enough for me

at least you got it back. some guys don't even get THAT.

^^ you can always pawn it.

i'd rather have a simple ring and use money to go travel.

True.

True.

It took some convincing, that's for sure...

I suppose I could hock it, but I wouldn't know where and avoid getting ripped off.

... or give it to a new girl. :)

For some reason I would think the next Ms. Right wouldn't want that ring, because of its history and/or baggage it caries.

Thing is, how do you explain to someone that you happen to have this ring? :headscratch:

You don't. Silence is golden (no pun intended!...unless it's silver, in which case,....forget that comment).

Maybe it's just me, but I think $10,000 on a FINGER is an insane investment that goes beyond risky. For both partners, isn't $3,000 and below all right? I am too afraid to lose anything. Besides, like someone mentioned here, more than displaying one's commitment in a ring which doesn't do much, wouldn't it be grand to display it in a more and relationship-strengthening way by using it for travel, vacation, the home, or future investments together? That's real affection to me :applaud:

I would guess at some point in time you'd get cornered into explaining the origins of the ring... You surely can't lie. :bleh:

I agree wholeheartedly. But at that point in time, logic/pragmatism didn't take hold for some reason. :banghead:
