You could try http://www.k-free.co.uk/find-replace-software.html , it seems to do what you want. I'd be making a backup of the whole site first though
Thanks for the link, AD! I'll try it later on when I have more time and let you know the results. :D
I've been trying since forever to get a high ID with eMule. (for faster speeds etc) It was near impossible with my previous ADSL modem, since it didn't have port forwarding. But my new one does. So I followed the instructions... or so I thought...but it made no difference. Today I was messing around trying to make something else work when I noticed i'd forgotten something... I didn't add the port forwarding rules to the list of "Applied" rules. So I did, reboot the modem and eMule... and now I have a high ID :banghead:

High ID, Low IQ, ne? :hehe:
Ehh... The obvious is never that.... No worries, A-Dad.
I finally tried the program that AD suggested and it works like a charm! :D The only drawback is that it saves the html files with ANSI encoding and that screws up all the kanji on my site since it needs to be UTF-8 encoding. :banghead:
Any clues on how I can fix this without manually c&p the kanji and the links that needs to be changed?

Sorry for the double post, but I found a "find and replace" tool with UTF-8 support. :dancing: It's free, but you can only work with 30-something files at a time. If you want to work with more, you have to purchase it.
I tried listening to my iPod on my laptop and found out that there was no volume. I checked Youtube and also tried other things that I know would ensure a sound, but that didn't work either. I tried adjusting the volume control, but nothing. Tried shutting down and starting it up again, but nothing as well.
I'm desperate here because I NEED volume on this darn laptop. :puppydog: Any help would be appreciated.
ETA: I don't know if this is significant, but there is also a thin pink line running from the top of the screen to the bottom (on the right side). I've never seen this before, so I'm a bit concerned.
I'm not the greatest computer whiz, but you tried disconnecting your ipod right? Some of my hardware overrides the sound card in my computer, like my USB headphones. I'm not sure how you listen to your ipod through your laptop, but that might be doing it.
I'm sure there's someone with a better answer though :). Hope it works out for you.

Did it work before you connected the iPod?
When you shutdown did you turn it off completely?
Did you get any sound like Windows startup or other system sounds?

But I always listen to my iPod via my laptop. This is the first time that this has ever happened. :( I think I'll try disconnecting my iPod and see if it's ok.

Make sure you run your virus scanner and check the sound properties in the control panel and make sure your soundcard is still selected.
