That's beautiful *sheds a tear* :beaten:
Two downsides:
1. It doesn't have adjustable height.
2. No free shipping from Amazon... :puppydog:

Did you check some other sites like pricegrabber to see if you can find a deal on the shipping from some other vendor.

Yup.
Wal-Mart (of all places) had a good price, but they're out of stock.
The HP outlet store has refurbs for $200, but............

Yeah that's always best...but I'm sure you'll be happy with your new screen.

I am so far... Though, as expected, the color depth isn't as good as a CRT.
From what I've read, the trade off for refresh speed is color depth and vice versa...
Hopefully it'll last longer than it's predecessor. :fingerscrossed:

Well since we discussed that Toshiba pulled out of their collabo with Canon re: SED due to litigation....one wonders if SED is vaporware. I'm not too knowledgeable about such things....

Canon just has to go at it on their own apparently... Toshiba was working on something SED-like with another company and that got them in trouble: conflict of interest.

Yeah but with all the hoopla over OLED in the market now...how likely is it Canon will bring a viable product to market.

Most of the hoopla is thanks to Sony, since they're backing that technology...
Guess their feeling frisky after the Blu-Ray victory. :beaten:
Canon probably needs a big-time player like Matsushita to fund and drive the SED to fruition... :fingerscrossed:
