Nice! Just make sure you have the optimal resolution and refresh rate set, or it'll look crappy. My LCD at work looked bad until I found it's native resolution and refresh rate (usually the highest) :)

Yup, got it all taken care of... :victory:
I would've liked to have bought another 1600x1200 monitor like my current CRT, but the LCD ones are really expensive.
After running a CRT for way too many years, I switched to a Samsung LCD widescreen. No regrets at all. 20-22in can be had for low 200's new at warehouse stores. So I can highly recommend Samsungs.

Yeah, I'm quite happy with my Samsung: it's exceptionally sharp, though the colors aren't on par with my CRT.... And that might be partly attributed to the matte finish of the screen.
The shiny, glass/glass-like screens seem to give the illusion of better colors, though they can be irritatingly reflective.
Anyone know about white printable DVDs? Someone who wants to trade with me requests that I use these type of discs, but I haven't the slightest clue what they are or where to get them. I'm guessing they're expensive..

They're just discs with a white top surface that allows people to print labels/logos/images/etc. directly onto the disc... Of course, you need a printer that can print on discs as well.
They're only fractionally more expensive than the plain ones, particularly if you buy them in bulk.

A fraction? Those things cost me $40 for 50 discs. That's damn expensive, imo. :grumble:

Depends on where you bought 'em from.
True. I bought them from the most expensive place because I didn't want to waste my time pricing around and/or find out that the other places don't carry those type of discs. Eh, whatever. This is freaking Hawaii where every damn thing is expensive so I shouldn't bitch about it, I guess. =T
