There's a sale at MSY this week, have a look?

Oh, is your company going to pay for it, then don't worry about it.

Ack, I think my PC's power supply is dying: When I start printing to my USB printer, the PC inadvertently shuts down.

My PC reset itself when I tried to uninstall Avira Premium Suite (because free trial expired) and install Avira's free Anti-virus, so I am currently stuck with a Anti-virus with no update. Any suggestion as to how I can uninstall it?
Thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling it from the Control Panel (Add or Remove Rprograms)?

Yes, it starts and then reset... I guess it's time to backup and reformat, it's been 2-3 years since last time. :bleh:

Can you turn off/disable the antivirus program, then delete it from the Program Files directory?

I tried that too but couldn't delete. Started backup yesterday and I guess I will wait for pc to be infected then re-install again. It's probably not a big risk if I don't go to many new websites.

Maybe you can boot into DOS and delete that directory.

Have you tried Googgling for a solution? You probably aren't the first person to have this problem...

I had this virus on my computer a few months ago, the only way I got rid of it was to wipe my hard drive and start all over. This is one nasty virus!

That's probably consistent with the number of Macs vs. PCs that are currently in use throughout the world.
