Eek, now my three-year old NetGear router seems to have suddenly failed. :(

Must be all that 24/7 BT seeding and leeching.

When it's for Juri-chan videos sometimes you have to make a sacrifice. :beaten:

Has anyone got the retail version of Windows 7 yet? How is your experience so far? I'm still waiting for my copy in the mail, which probably won't get here until Monday. The excitement level isn't quite on par as what I had for Vista since I've been running the beta and RC version of Win 7 for a while now, but I'm certainly looking forward to doing away from my current Vista/Win 7 RC dual-boot setup to just Win 7.

Yup.

I've got a new Ethernet switch on order from Amazon. :victory:

I'm in no rush... Still using XP. :victory:

There wasn't any real motivation to upgrade to Vista other than it being new and I feel the same for Win7.

My PC clock had changed over to standard time from daylight savings today. Guess Microsoft didn't get the memo. :shakehead:

Very weird: On tuesday, when I fired up my work comp, it started on the basic Widows theme, not Aero which I normally use. And it has done every day since. I keep switching it back, but it just changes back every morning. On top of that, every time I fire up Nero Express to burn a CD, the theme changes to basic again. This never happened before :(

^ Ditch Nero Express and use ImageBurn. :victory:

^ Yup. :victory:

Nero is one morbidly obese software package. :bleh:
30 Oct 2009, 06:19 #5319
^Yes, it's a 'bulky' software and I realized I was only using it to burn image files. So I looked for a 'lighter' software and came across ImageBurn and I loved it.

Yup, same here.

All those other features it had were only average, if not mediocre.

Image Burn does one thing and does it well. :victory:
