my dorama's are on DVD-R's... most of what i keep on drive are sound loops, and video files i used to work on.. i should clean them out, and remove a drive, it'd run less hot.. it's harder to mod a G4 case for cooler running.

hmm.. drives.. well 7200rpm's, i'd go with Seagate Barracuda's, i've always used them when i can, only 1 fail.
Toshiba's are pretty good, they're rather quiet.. i use those in my laptops. I suppose WD Caviars would be the last one.. though i've had a higher rate of failure with WD drives.

I think you'll be fine getting anything that's NOT a Hitach... i've not had much luck with Fujitsu's either.

remember that any drive by any company can fail, good backup habits are very important.

The new video iPods can play DVDs and other kinds of video if properly converted:

Apparently a number of different applications can do the job. Some are all in one, others require two applications.

Get the new 16Mb Cache Hard drive, just as fast as the Raptor drives.

I wonder what it would be like with a 100Mb one :P Not that they can't do that now beacuse if they did no reason to upgrade.

think i junked that tape player, wonder if you can get anything for it off ebay, probably not, since there is no use for it now in the high-tech age.
