L'Arc~en~Ciel

Hello everyone, I'm new here although I still love L'arc to death so I don't think it'd matter, right? I'm definitely getting the AWAKE album ASAP. Oh, and does anyone have Lover Boy and is willing to share? ^^

Hi Zannda!

You're welcome!
Here is Lover Boy live at SMILE TOUR as mp3 but if you want I can upload the CD version.

L'Arc~en~ciel 's AWAKE is No1 in Daily Oricon Charts *can't believe*
*happyyyyyyyyyyy* :bonk:

Speaking of Lover Boy, I just did this one. I should have known from the title, but... I was still pretty surprised by the lyrics. Ken (writer and composer of the song) is so bad! Translated parts are in italics.
Lover Boy
(Atsuku me wo samashite Kimi to ajiwai aou)
Cooling my hot eyes, I think I'll meet and taste you.
Dream on till night, be sailin' on your life
Tonight, want you blood

(Fukau kande Ima toraeteiruyo)
Biting deep, I'm capturing you now
I'm a lover boy
(Dakiai aou ...)
Let's make love to each other
(Kodoku ha mayakashi Nagasareru mamani)
Loneliness is being drained by deception

Wonder tonight, be getting your jaded heart
Tonight, shaking the blood

(Sorou kokyuu kara ima sora made yukuyo)
We'll go from our gathered breaths to the sky now
(Kowasu hodoni..)
So much we'll break
'Cause I'm a lover boy

(Yasashiku sasoi dashite Kimi no oku he yukou)
Gently starting to invite me, I'll go to your depths
I'm a lover boy
(Subete miseyou... )
I'll show you everything

Don't be shy, show your love! Show your love!
Don't be ignorant, show your colors! Show your colors!
Don't let me know your lie, your lie!
Stay tonight till the night, next night!

Tonight, shaking!
Tonight, looking for your blood!

(Fukaku kande Ima toraeteiruyo)
Biting deep, I'm capturing you now.
(Dakiai yoou ...)
Let's get drunk off of making love to eachother.
'Cause I'ma lover boy

(Afure dashiteku boku wo nokosazu nomihoshite)
Starting to overflow, I want you to drink me up
(Yokete iyou ... )
Make way for me
I'ma lover boy

(Sorou kokyuukara ima sora made yuku yo)
We'll go from our gathered breaths to the sky now
(Kowasu hodoni..)
so much that we'll break.
'Cause I'm a lover boy

(Yasashiku sasoi dashite Kimi no oku he yukou)
Gently starting to invite me, I'll go to the depths of you
(Subete ageyou... )
I'll give you everything
I'm a lover boy

The only place I know of its amazon.co.jp but I can't read Jap, so its a little troublesome registering and all. Wonder if places like HMV and Tower accept individual orders.

And yeah, I would sure love to have a look at your tabs! :muack:

YAAAAHHH!!! Finally got my copy of AWAKE and have been listening to it non-stop every since...hee hee

I loved it! Well worth the wait to listen to it! It took me several times listening to each of the new songs, but I've come to like most of them very much. I still like all of the songs that were released as singles the best, but the new songs were good too.

My favorite new song is My Dear. There was just something about that song that touched me.

Also finally watched the performance of AS ONE..totally hot and rockin' performance by the boys!

The only songs I'm not quite sure about yet are Ophelia and EXISTENCE. I don't really like talking in songs so that's the only thing I don't like about EXISTENCE...otherwise, it's a pretty catchy song!

I was finally able to go back and read everyone's posts about the album

pochipochi wrote:Some AWAKE translations I found on some forums...

Thanks for the translations pochipochi! I love knowing what the songs are about. I love My Dear even more now

And LOST HEAVEN, here you are:

Thanks for the LOST HEAVEN lyrics! Listening to it right now...this song grows on me more each time I listen to it  And thanks for the oricon info...go laruku!!

Yr teacher's simply too cool!! What a pity... I only learnt guitar for a week in school during the holidays... didn't manage to play the guitar again...

Btw, I'd bought the Oversea Version of AWAKE yesterday at CD-Rama!! So cool... All the songs are nice... I listened through the whole CD for about 5 times already, since last night, haha :hehe: Really worth my money course it's only $18.95... :victory:

Thanks for the chords Blade! I am trying to do some bass tabs for it but its so hard to catch everything Tetsu is playing!

S$18.95 = US$12 (approx?)

Hahaha, that's cheap. But the Japan import version is too beautiful!! I am gonna display it on my desk everyday! :dancing:

matsu: I am really sorry to hear your album has finally arrived. No one to tease now. :shamefulcry:

If I have money I would definitely buy the Japan's Version.... The problem is I don't have... No choice... But really envy and jealous those who had the Japan's Version... Cool~!! The packaging is real nice... Good collectible edition
