Agh, I had to work 6:30 to 2:30. Our "breaks' are really only any time it's slow and you've done your side jobs so any shift longer than 6 hours is really a pain.

6:30am? Wow, what time are you guys open to the public? Over here, most stores/coffee places open around 8 or 9am.

WHAT??? That's so late! We open at 5:30 on weekdays (so we have to be there at 5 to set up), 6:30 on Saturday, and 7 on Sunday. There are other locations in busier spots that open at 5 on weekdays too.

I think we need to check our ventilation system. Yesterday, for no apparent reason, two of my co-workers started singing the theme song to "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" People let me tell you 'bout my best friend, , ,

That makes for a good day, my friend. Congrats :)
Scrubbing the floors and doing extra cleaning tonight for when our new president and CEO is coming in tomorrow made me realize again how much I hate my job. My deposit was less than 100 dollars. Why were we open regular hours? And no holiday pay of course. Plus our new bakery inventory sucks balls.

This reminds me why I never went for retail/stuff-that's-open-on-holidays jobs.
