Wow, you have extra-curricular activies EVERY DAY?? So you're at work till what time? I never knew how hard teachers had it and I guess I should've given them more respect for having such long hours.

Wyn-chan is exceptional, some don't do anything after school (in my experience: I know a lot of teachers) but most do something extra.

Exceptional or crazy...maybe a little of both? :beaten: But seriously, that takes a lot of dedication and I salute her. :applaud:

On topic: Just got in three orders and now I have to do work. :grumble: :beaten:

I dunno if the hours are long in comparison to other jobs. I work from 7:30am to 5 or 5:30pm, depending on the extra-curricular. I'm only paid to work from 8:05am to 3:05, so I actually work 3-4 hours AT SCHOOL without pay. Extra-curriculars we're not paid to do, which is why most teachers don't bother with it.

When I get home, I usually put in an hour of prep for each class I teach, so that's another 3 hours I'm not paid for. And that doesn't include marking.

Now, I get 1.25 hours of prep time during the day, and 1.25 hours for lunch, but lunch is usually spent giving students extra help or photocopying. Or cafe supervision if it's my week.

Wow, I feel depressed now. lol

Thank you. Tho I wish the students would appreciate it. It's bad enough the amount of work we put into our job, but then we have to deal with ungrateful teenagers all day long. :bleh:

Definitely crazy! :hehe:

But I DO enjoy my job, and although I complain about the work, I chose this profession as my career and I'm glad I did. I can't imagine doing anything else... and I'm a workaholic. So it fits.

Sensei is the yearbook-meister at her school. She's probably going to have that job until, , , well, until forever. [/list:u]
